Breeland Speaks received a home visit from a trio of Ole Miss coaches Thursday night. "Coaches (Chris) Kiffin, (Dave) Wommack, and (Derrick) Nix just left my house," Speaks said Thursday night. "They have been here for a few hours going over everything with me and my parents." And what was talked about? "We went over the depth chart and going over the different (official) visits I will take." What did he learn about the depth chart at Ole Miss? "I am going to have to work regardless of where I go to school, but they want me at the three technique. They want me to come in and contribute as soon as I am ready." The visit list looks like what now? "Me and my parents are going to LSU (1/17) this weekend, Ole Miss (1/24) next, and Arkansas (1/24) the final weekend."

These kids don't seem to realize That were fans of our teams and that we support them if they are on our team or while we recruiting them to be on our team. Otherwise they're just some other college kid

Floyd looked bigger than I expected in his picture, too.

80% chance Jackson still takes his visit. He's the most easily swayed kid I've seen this year.

Yeah I noticed that as well. That's the type of CB that we need to be landing with all these 6'4+ receivers flooding in to the SEC.

Was Jarius Wright the last very successful SEC receiver that's <6'?

Derrick Locke was pretty good from Kentucky but he was 2011, J Wright was 2012

Most likely. Definitely in the 1,000 yard club.
This year only 3 of the top 15 receivers in the league were sub 6'0. I think 9 were 6'3 or above.

After a big-time senior season, Miami, Fla., Killian defensive end and Florida International commit Anthony Brown saw many more options come his way. One of those was Arkansas, where Brown (6-4, 235) took an official visit this weekend. "The first part is it's SEC football," Brown said. "Who wouldn't want to play in the SEC, the best college football in the world? Arkansas told me I might have the opportunity to play my first year. They trust me even though I've only been playing this sport for two years. That's another big thing, the trust. “They also know I need to be taught,” Brown said. “They know what they're getting out of me and they respect that. That's another thing I saw in Arkansas that I did like.” Brown said Sunday that the Arkansas visit exceeded his expectations. “It was a good experience,” Brown said. “I liked being here. I liked the coaches, I liked the school. Everything is positive. I like the school, I like the vibe here. I can see myself being a Razorback.” As it is with many recruits, Friday night's trip to the Catfish Hole restaurant was a big hit with Brown. “It was good and we never see that back in Miami,” Brown said. “That was a good experience.” Brown currently has trips scheduled to Mississippi State and Cincinnati the next two weeks, but that might not happen now. “I might still take my visits, but definitely leaning toward Arkansas after this weekend,” Brown said. “I came up here, I loved what I seen and I'll just take it from there.” Brown did say he could end the process soon. “It depends,” Brown said. “I can't honestly say that now, but as the week goes and recruiting starts progressing, I can definitely see myself making my decision soon.” Brown is a fan of Razorback assistant coach Randy Shannon, the former Miami head coach who has been his lead recruiter. "He's nice,” Brown said. “He came to my school and came to my house. We had a good conversation," Brown said. "When I spoke to him it wasn't all about football. We had a conversation and laughed a little bit, so it wasn't all about football. He's a nice guy."

Miami, Fla., Gulliver prep cornerback Cornelius Floyd's recruiting process is not over, but it most certainly has entered the home stretch and there is a definite leader at the turn.
Floyd (6-0, 170, 4.4) said so Sunday after his official visit to Arkansas concluded.
“Arkansas is my leader,” Floyd said. “....I give the visit a 10.”
..This was a great weekend," Floyd added. "It was a once in a lifetime chance to get up to Arkansas and I had fun.”
Is a possible commitment to head coach Bret Bielema's Razorback program in the works soon for the 3-star cornerback prospect that was recently named all-state in talent-rich Florida?
“Arkansas stands high on my list... Coach B is coming down to my house for the in-home visit (this week), so we should know by then,” Floyd said.
Floyd, who came into the visit with official visits scheduled to Oklahoma and the University of Central Florida, was hosted by Miami native and Razorback redshirt freshman safety De'Andre Coley and impressed by several things.
“The fans, coaches and players. De’Andre Coley, he’s a good kid. He’s quiet, like myself. He showed me around. He said it’s a lot of fun. He said the fans are crazy, they show a lot of love, and he likes it a lot."
He said that he really liked the current Arkansas players.
“We had an instant bond,” Floyd said. “They played around with me...yanking my chain, stuff like that."

Tucson, Ariz., offensive lineman Andrew Mike's official visit to Arkansas this weekend started off with a bang.
More specificially, it started off with the four-star prospect getting to view a Advanced Orthpedic Speicalists surgery and the future pre-med major loving every minute of it.
“It was pretty cool to see a torn labrum surgery got all dressed up in the gear and watched it and it was really cool to be able to experience it for he first time and see what they do,” Mike said.
Mike was clear that the weekend moved Arkansas way up on a list that also includes Florida, Arizona and Washington.
“It definitely increased them,” Mike said. “...Good experience, good to get out here, learn more about the school, be able to fit in with the kids and experience what they experience every day.”
Getting to know Arkansas offensive line coach Sam Pittman more was also a positive according to Mike.
“Love him,” Mike said. “Good guy and knows what he’s talking about and can get guys in the league. “Good guy, too, and really cares about the linemen.”
Pittman visited Mike and his dad on Thursday ahead of the visit.
“(Pittman) came to our high school and visited with our head coach (on Thursday),” Mike said. “It was a good time. He's a great guy. He's funny. From what I have learned from the other kids, he coaches them in a good way and is helpful.”
Mike's host this weekend were tight end Hunter Henry and offensive lineman Dan Skipper.
“Being able to hang out with the O-linemen, being able to experience and get to know them and what they do.”
Mike has a visit to Florida scheduled next weekend.
“Right now I don’t really have a top three or anything,” Mike said. “It definitely let me know what they’re all about....Arizona is still in it. Washington a little bit, too.”
Mike's dad Steve was also impressed.
“I think he liked it more than he expected,” Mike said. “Never being out here, you don’t know what to (expect), but he liked it a lot.”
