Taver is handing out some new offers in Ohio.

Finally offered David Cornwell while at his school yesterday. Doubt it will mean very much, but he wants to stay close to home. If OU would have offered him a couple weeks ago, he would jumped on it.

Cornwell will visit Arkansas again sometime in the next two weeks. Apparently excited about Arkansas offer.

Pretty sure the Cornwell to Bama buzz is just the group think of Saban gets who Saban wants.
Truth is, Saban has a very poor record of producing QB's. He's good about instilling the fear of God in them to not frick up so they tend to be game managers which of course is a must have, but his QB's have a ceiling of NFL 3rd string.
I'm intrigued by all of the QB offers we're floating out there. Tells me Chaney doesn't really like any of the QB's we have on campus and is going to push a couple off the roster. Also makes me question if they think Peavey is the answer or if they want to stock up the position.

We really don't have any to push off the roster. After this season we will have B. Allen, A. Allen, and D. Mitchell (Who may not be a QB in a year or 2). The other 4 or 5 guys we have on the roster are walkons and not hurting us anyways.

It was in the '13 recruiting thread.
If you go to HiV he has a 12 page thread, at first he was a horrible transfer possibility signifying a late scramble by the staff to get "anyone" to fill a scholly, once he committed to Auburn, he became the missing piece to winning the NC next year and a testimate to how bad of a recruiter Mike is, by the same posters...
