I'm oddly mildly confident that we can pull Hampton. Parker looks to be A&M's to lose.
Also what is Dick Davenport's obsession with Malachi Dupre and writing up the cousin angle with Coach Smith? It gives the avg hog fan false hope and the negahogs more ammo to belittle the staff when there's never been any chance to land the guy. He added Arky to his top 5 to give a story to write about a maybe visit. It's too late in the game for maybe visits.
RD kinda pisses me off with these fluff pie in the sky articles about recruits that extreme long shots to begin with. Mostly because I know it exacerbates the frustration for casual fans that only get 'crootin

This.
He is terrible about getting the average fans hopes up about recruits we have absolutely no shot with and then those fans get upset about the staffs "inability to close" because we didn't land said 5* recruit.
It started with Jeff Luc and he has just gotten worse about it since then.

Yeah. They just can't say names.
It's definitely not as bad as Les Miles subtweeting Leonard Fournette the other day. That's definitely walking a fine line and leaning more towards breaking the rules.

He has been planning to maybe visit since back in the summer. Hell it isn't that far of a drive. My wife and I did it in one day. Of course Hogville isn't smart enough to put all that together.
