If Saban doesn't have room for him\picks up someone higher on his board at the last minute do you think he will give a shite if Frazier falls in our laps? He's going to take the best players and won't be concerned about the rest.

there are major differences in frazier and philon. Frazier isn't a project that will be good in a few years he's as ready a freshman as you see anywhere in the country.

when did this happen?

It was my impression that Jackson was ready and Frazier needed some work.

Is this more NWA/WL smack?

It's recruiting, could go either way right now bama is in the lead but apparently they aren't recruiting him anymore.

I believe be was joking. When it looked like us and A&M were his top 2, Bama posters said they were recruiting other people and he wasn't a priority.

He does, he lacks effort at times.

Alabama has had a few freakish LBs that were big AND really fast. Dull minds believe that there's only one path to success.

Sharieff Rhaheem and this cat (Linebacker Mike Smith from Miami) would be a sweet pair of recruits to get.

Former NLR PG Dayshawn Watkins signed with Florida St today. He signed with UAB last year, but went JUCO after changing his mind.

I know nothing, but this is what I'm assuming.

During the summer, Bama favored Elam. Elam's since become harder to pull out of Kentucky, and his Sr. season wasn't as dominating as it should have been. Causing Bama to value Elam and Frazier closer together, hence an increased effort by Bama to land Frazier since he didn't commit to Sumlin on his visit there (like I thought he would).

I believe Bijohn will be better, but damnit if we don't need them both in a bad way. I think Austin Capps is a dang near lock for LSU, so we certainly can't lose Frazier out of our backyard.

Our Oklahoma recruiting doesn't look great and it won't while OSU and OU are in the top 15 and we're losing a record amount of games. They're beating the brakes off us in North and East Texas too. It might be 2015/2016 until we actually see the improvement on the recruiting trail in our home region. I think the staff can go get some guys in Florida/Jersey/Missouri/Texas etc. But what we've seen them get committed in Louisiana, Texas, and Georgia so far are more 2nd tier guys while the conference mates are getting the top shelf elite guys.

And of course when you see what Saban and Bama are doing and you have an opportunity to join that, I'd say anyone would be favoring Bama until it's down to crunch time on the decision.

We've got to win to attract the elite guys attention at all, then we've got the slimy stuff to deal with as well. The NCAA is toothless, Auburn, Bama, Oregon, Miami, UNC, Ole Miss, and even LSU have shown how to do it and not get hammered. The NCAA's 2 game suspension on Clinton-Dix was a farce, and there's documented proof that Bama players have been getting paid but nothing will come of it. You just have to make sure it's kept under wraps for 2-3 years while they're on campus then after they're in the NFL nothing can be done.

We've had our work cut out for us with Frazier from the start, he grew up cheering against Arkansas. He said it was the 'cool thing to do' because everyone else cheered for them. BUT 3-4 NT might be the best thing for him, he doesn't get much penetration in a 4-3 set, so eating up space might be his best option.

That's a stretch. That's a LOOOOOONG ways off.

The LB Mike Smith and Florida St commit JoJo Robinson have set their OV's for Jan 24-26. They're HS teammates.

Also, we offered a JUCO LB yesterday he is set to visit Dec 6th with Brian Wallace and Armon Watts.

So this idiot on Bo's show just said that playing in Little Rock helps us recruit Central Arkansas better.

2 things. Well duh, and when's Central Arkansas going to start pumping out the recruits like they used to?

Getting 5-6 SEC quality guys a year from the L.R. area is what this program needs, and they aren't producing it despite the capability to.

So if the athletes aren't there, more games need to be on campus so we can bring in recruits and earn more $ to pump into the program.
