Crazy that he's going to be on campus in like 6 weeks.

I'm hoping they get by Pleasant Hill this week.

They can beat either team that would advance the next week, and then get Webb City and I would go to either Webb or Bolivar and watch.

Would that be the semis or the quarterfinals?

That's a hell of a quarterfinal matchup. That could just as well be the state title game.

Yeah, mainly why I would go regardless of which school hosts.

However, I think Pleasant Hill beats Bolivar.

Should be a good game. Their only common opponent is Warrensburg and both destroyed them. Rafe definitely isn't going to just be able to so anything he wants against them.

Yeah, that CityLink.tv I've posted a few streams to, will be streaming the game again since Bolivar is hosting. I'll post it Monday.

Be a good one to go to as well.

It will be interesting to see where he goes. I talked to some sports guy on twitter last night that lives in Derby and he said that even Goolsby's own sister doesn't even know who he is going to choose. No way anyone making crystal ball picks actually knows. That guy said a month ago his preference was first tOSU then us then OU.

Or maybe the sister just didn't want to tell the sports guy

True. Hopefully that is the case. It would be a huge pickup for us, that's for sure.

I think WPS20 already mentioned this about Goolsby but I just came across this from a KState guy.

quote:

he thinks he's playing WR wherever he goes (probably true). He asked both teams about the ability to play WR and both KSU and ARK said he could.

Man the possibilities of matchups is endless if we can add Goolsby and Pierce to go with Henry. I really hope Chaney can come up with creative ways to use these guys.

Let me add "hiring a QB guru" to that as well.

I'm not sold on Chaney's ability to mold QB's, if QB is a weak spot for us we'll have big trouble getting over the hump. With Peavey and Storey there is talent coming in, and this Bentonville kid to boot could be another high end talent if he develops like Lunney Sr. thinks he can.

His family knows, they're just trying to keep it from leaking.

RD traveled up to Derby for the announcement. That's a good ride from LR.

I just saw that on twitter. I think this is the first time he has ever traveled out of state for an announcement.

ETA: Davenport lives in LR? And still manages to scoop all of the local recruiting guys? That's just terrible. I assumed he lived in Fayetteville as well.

He started out as just a messageboard poster.

It's kinda creepy as well, but OK now that he is legit.
