I've watched his video before, he looks really good. I thought he would have more offers than that.

I'm an unabashed Treyvon Hughes fan. I want to offer him immediately if we miss out on Shorter.

So about 40% of his commits have been a 4* or better. Not too shabby for a guy that can't recruit.

Dammit if we had just been showing recruits shoes and shite a few seasons ago we might have a crystal ball.

With as important as Kickers ultimately are to teams. Ya know winning games on last second FG's, staying alive getting into OT, booming KO's, etc.

Why are the best 2 kickers in the country only ranked at 80 and 3 stars?

There's 73 Pro style QB's rated 80 and above, with the lowest guy a 3 star committed to App St.

There's 40 Dual style QB's rated 80 and above, the lowest a 3 star committed to S. Alabama.

The numbers show that there's 113 QB's rated as high or higher than the 2 best kickers in the country, one of which is our guy Hedlund. Out of 113 QB's the odds are that maybe 1/2 of them actually become starting QB's for the school they sign with. There'll be transfers, JUCO casualties, and guys that get buried on depth charts and get processed. A freshman kicker has a much better chance of contributing to the team than a Fr. QB.

I don't understand the low valuation on a position where the top 15 guys are without a doubt better players and more likely to make an impact than the 100-115th best QB's.

We couldn't be showing them adidas junk man. Mitch was a sage of his time.

that never made sense to me, either. kickers put up points, and a lot of them. good punters can make or break a game. it makes no sense to set their ceilings at low 3* levels.

Agreed. Games are won and lost based off of the performance of kickers all the time. It makes no sense to devalue their ranking but just slapping some arbitrary low number on them.

Why doesn't the soccer team recruit from Brazil? A team full of random 18 year old Brazilians is gonna be better thn whoever is on our team.
