his 247 profile still shows they rate him a 97 rated 4*.
Scout has him at 4
Rivals has him at a 5.8 4*, so not just a 4 but a marginal one at that.
with his offer list, if he's not a 5*,then nobody is. the ranking is probably a result of the sites paying little attention to JC's more than anything.

Well the individual analyst rankings just debuted two days ago. That is something brand new to the site.
Shurbutt is the National Recruiting Director for 247 so he definitely has a big say in their rankings. I will be curious to see if Jermaine eventually gets a bump or not. Probably not if he chooses the Hogs today.

Shurburtt said they just haven't assigned many 5 star JUCOs at this stage in regards to Jermaine being one overall.

They definitely don't hand out many 5*'s for JUCO's. 2011 was their first year to rank Juco's and the had 3. Last year they only had one and then this year they only have one as of now.
