If you don't like to discuss positives and negatives, this isn't the board for you.

Thanks for the advice. I actualy do like discussing the positives and negatives.
I think you are being too negative about the kid.
He is rated a four star and has a nice offer list.
I am positively excited that he will probably be commiting soon.

You're welcome, and good deal.

Like I said earlier and as you can see, I live in Springfield, so me being negative is based off who he plays for and who he plays against. He's young. I didn't even know about him until today.
If he commits, I will make the less than 20 minute drive to half his games and scout him myself and see what I think then and let you all know.

I'm stoked about the kid. Hope he commits today.

Bolivar has been destroying the Marshfields and Buffalos for a few years. Usually up by 40 or 50 at halftime.

Yeah, even my HS, Monett, beat Marshfield and Buffalo a few years ago and Monett is 3a.
Kind of what I mean by he plays absolutely terrible teams in a terrible area for HS football.

Hey, I figure if the kid is getting that many BCS offers before his Junior season, they are seeing something.
Ult, I understand you would like to see him against quality competition, but sometimes good players come from smaller schools too.

Absolutely, talent is talent regardless. The degree of that talent is unknown.
Excited to watch his games this year and see for myself what all these big D1 schools are seeing.

Any word on peavy's visit today?
Posted on 6/6/12 at 5:54 pm to UnderCoverHog
QB Rafe Peavey, 6-2, 197 pounds, 4.5 of Bolivar (Mo.) High School and his parents along with his sister visited Arkansas today. His father, Jack said the visit couldn’t have gone any better.
He said they had a great meeting with Arkansas coach John L. Smith and was very impressed with him as a person and as a coach.
They toured the campus and facilities while learning about the academic structure. Peavey plans to attend a day or two of the three day camp that starts on Sunday and ends on Tuesday. He wants to experience what the Hogs do during practices and learn more about the system. A decision will likely come very soon.
Peavey has nine scholarship offers, including Arkansas, Missouri, Nebraska, UCLA, Boston College, Connecticut and Ole Miss. The Hogs were the first school to offer. - RD

I'm pretty familiar with Monett, but I'm a bit older than you.

Such a small world.
My uncle lives in Aurora, and his kids are Aurora grads also. Recently though, I think '07 and '10 class.

That's as highly ranked of a recruit as we have had committed since, who, Al Jefferson?
How high were Igudoula and the kid from Ohio that left when Nolan was fired?

Yep, and they say he might even climb higher at the rate he is going.
