Heard '14 Bolivar QB Rafe Peavy could commit to Arkansas today

Would not be a surprise. Would surely mean Brayden Scott is gonna have to take a mid-major offer or end up at Oklahoma St.

I think the Cogswell commitment eliminated Arkansas as an option for Scott

Most definitely. I imagine the staff just got tired of Scott openly waiting for an OU offer when you had this other out of state kid that was dying to commit. Right now we have to take kids that truly want to be Hogs since we technically don't have a head coach.
I would definitely be blown away if Peavey commits. That would be a nice surprise considering he was at a Mizzou camp just yesterday.

One of our recruiting guys said there's been whispers about him commiting today. When he spoke to Rafe's dad he didn't mention anything about.

I hadn't really paid any attention to 2014 recruits yet, but since it sounds like we may be about to get a commit from Peavey, I went and looked at his profile.
6-02, 205, 4.5, listed as Dual Threat QB.
Has several BCS offers already (Nebraska, UCLA, Miss, West Virginia, Missouri among others) so he must be pretty decent.
Been camping at Arkansas since 8 years old and parents have Arkansas ties, so I'd think we have an excellent chance...

Yeah, like I said, my post was just for the few other lazy asses like me that hadn't gotten up to speed on Peavey yet. Only thing I knew about Peavey is that I used one of their amplifiers for a few years, Bandit 112, couldn't kill that thing...

RT is the best place to get free recruiting info. Taylor, Dalt, RF and a few others do a great job of keeping player profiles updated with info from a variety of sources.
