Did we just offer him today? I know Paul Petrino was going to be in town today to visit Burse and Anthony Jennings over at Marrietta.

Yeah, him and all the young men and women in ATL that I mentor and/or promote to get their names out there to procure scholarships.

Internet tough guys know not to whom they speak.

Do you know his thoughts on Arkansas? I know he has been out to visit before and said he liked it.

I like his mechanics. If we can get Allen as out 1a then he would be a great 1b addition imo.

Sounding really good here:

quote:

“Every school has taken quarterbacks every year,” Allen said. “Arkansas didn’t take one last year. With Brandon being there [it] really doesn’t bother me. He’ll be a redshirt junior and I would just be a redshirt freshman, so I could learn a lot in that time frame and become the best quarterback I can be. And whenever he graduates I think I’ll be ready to fill in for him. There will be competition anywhere.”

Nice. Hopefully we can get him locked up sooner than later.

Is Arkansas planning on signing 2 QBs in this class or just 1???

If just 1 who will it be Allen?

Or Brayden Scott.

Looking to sign two.

What about Ryan Buchanan? And Dobbs? Where do they fall on your list?

I still think that Cord Sandberg (Mini Tebow) is our QB of the future.

I'd take any of them behind Allen. Allen is my #1 for this class.

I'd like to take a dual threat like Dobbs though

Brayden Scott isn't going to make any decisions until we hire a permanent coach. He isn't going to OU now, so you gotta think we're the favorite he just doesn't want to commit without us having a HC.

Josh Dobbs really like us, I could see him committing once he visits again this summer.

IMO, the staff has it like this

1. Austin Allen
2a. Josh Dobbs
2b. Brayden Scott
2c. Anthony Jennings
3. Tyler Bruggman
4. Kelly Hilinski

I ain't putting Buchanan on there, he seems like he isn't interested alot.

Out of the guys we have offered, I would guess:

1. Austin Allen
2. Brayden Scott
3. Tyler Bruggman
4. Kelly Hilinksi
5. Anthony Jennings
6. Ryan Buchanan
7. Josh Dobbs

ETA: 5 and 7 could be way off.

Dobbs is actually more of a passer than you realize.

Well, he is about as dual threat as Tyler Wilson.

He isn't. He is only camping at Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Auburn, and Florida this summer.
