Probably one of the two at least. My guess is Tenpenny. Marshall can always play defense if Collins is truly worried.

Man, I'm really holding out hope for Collins, but I feel it in my guts he wants to stay in FL. I like the connects with his guardian and coach and Partridge, but I just don't see it happening.

I don't think this offer has anything to do with Collins.
Tenpenny, yes, Collins, no.
However, we did just do an in home with Collins yesterday with our entire coaching staff, and the next day they offer a different RB.
Who the frick knows.

We sent the entire offensive staff and Partridge to see Collins and only two coaches to see Tenpenny at his work. That tells me which one we feel better about as of last night.

The only thing that would give me pause is the timing. If we offered Marshall because Tenpenny told us no, why the wait? It would make more sense had they offered Marshall a few days ago...which makes me think Collins told them no.
Or maybe Tenpenny told them, "I need a couple of days to think it over" and he just got back to them. I am starting to hate recruiting.

That's a good point too. The timing is questionable. I've assumed Evans is tied to Collins since he isn't as versatile as Marshall. If Evans gets offered them we lost Collins.

I can't allow myself to get excited...I do this every damn year.
Last time I convinced myself we had a top prospect in the bag and he announced on national TV...well, I don't have to tell you guys.

Yeah, I've said Collins to Miami from the start and will not allow myself to think otherwise regardless of any good news I come across.
Even if part of me thinks he is a Hog, I must protect myself and stick with Miami in the end.

Ya know - that's a good point. We have tons of space in the backfield, we still don't know what Collins OR Tenpenny will do, we've got a talented athlete in state who will surely commit if offered...go ahead and give him Moore's scholarship. If he works out at RB, great. If not, he might make for a great safety with his size and speed.

This...Soooo This. I have to play mind tricks with myself.
I've already convinced myself that we are done, and this is it. Maybe a few more 3 star peeps, and that is it, so that anything else is gravy. As an AR fan, you almost have to do this with the ups and downs involved in being a Razorback fan. If we do land some big names, I will be ecstatic, but I've already convinced myself we are done. Yeah - I saw that. I don't think you can read too much into that. I think it's an "in-studio" thing. Can't imagine he thought, "I don't want to ruffle these die hard Miami feathers too badly, I better do it in Atlanta!"
