You guys are cluttering up this thread again I see. I've got to weed through all this crap just to get recruiting news now. And you guys know I'm a bit slow so it's going to take me forever.

bear-o-dactyl single handedly saved that last page from being the worst on this board since it opened.

I'm gonna need some news here soon, reading Kirkland's comments in the paper today I feel like there's a strong chance we get him.

So....anyway. Coach B flipped Dan Skipper to the Hogs, or I guess Pittman did...whatever. How big will it be when Tenpenny announces AR as his destination?

On his visit he stood on a chair on called the hogs at the urging of the other recruits. I think he realizes how many other backs he will be behind at Bama and how long it will be before he ever plays if he ever plays at all.

Not believing it 'til I see it. I distinctly remember the disappointment when I realized DBG's hat was black, a few seconds before he put it on.

Not to mentioned that damn guy who whispered "it's Arkansas" right before he pulled out the black hat. That crushed me.

frick those POS kids and their drama limelight shitshows of signing ceremonies.

It's been 4 months, DGB should be getting arrested again soon.

It he chooses to come here it won't be because of the depth chart at Bama.

Was it ever determined exactly who said that? One of the ESPN guys in the studio?

I'm glad you brought up DGB...another kid that was a lock to go out of state to a big school, and then ended up staying there. The difference I guess was that he had not verbally committed to anyone, but in Tenpenny's defense, a lot has changed in the landscape at AR.

I don't think there could have been anymore changes to better suit him as a player than the staff that was hired.

RD just posted something about Collins, but I'm blocked at work. Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

ETA: Can't read this either. Synopsis?

Here's the article, Piggy. I'm not on the twit machine right now.

quote:

7. Alex Collins, RB -- Miami vs. Arkansas vs. Florida vs. FSU vs. Wisconsin: The speedy back from Broward County is the country's top-ranked running back and would be a huge pickup for anyone, but especially for new Razorbacks coach Bret Bielema. This is another top recruit who at one point seemed likely headed to FSU, but word is the Noles' chances have been hurt by more of the coaching turnover (in this case, when RB coach Eddie Gran left Tallahassee to become the OC at Cincinnati). "Collins, by a hair, will head to Fayetteville," Shurburtt predicted.
