Exactly. Look at where we're recruiting, also. Colorado, Hawaii, Arizona, Florida, TX, Jersey, etc. Truly recruiting nationally. And these guys are busting arse. I think we're looking at a staff that, with a full year's time, can put together a top 10-15 class.

Yes.
The staff almost has the class ranked back to where it was when they were hired. The difference is it is filled with kids who will actually qualify and make it to the hill this fall or have the ability to hopefully contribute at some point during their stay on the hill.
JLS and Horton's commits weren't shall we say, of that quality.

I admit it was a shot at the obvious flame thread by coastie, but still... Obvious lsu fan admins are obvious

Looking at 247, McClure is rated a 2star. How can a 2x Juco All American only be a 2star?
I'm over the star system, it's fun to look back and see how many Top 200 guys on the recruiting sites never get a sniff at the NFL.

Yeah, but star proponents will say its all about the odds, more 3 and 2 stars, less 4 and 5 so of course the busts of 4s and 5s will stand out more, etc.
Really, the staff just needs to worry about finding players that can play, I would say so far they have done so or feel as if they have. HiV is saying they are reaching, but with Petrino you knew when he was like calling up Herndon on NSD and offering a scholly at 1:35pm...

I remember that everyone was convinced he was going to be a great one. Had crazy moves but was hurt so he didn't get any offers....or maybe he just wasnt an allstar and was a reach to fill the scholarship position, hell if everyone turned into an allstar it wouldn't be so special to be one.
