I'm going to say it again, a big big big big key to this S. Florida connection is going to be getting a decent sized group of guys that will be big time players.

If Alex Collins signs and turns out like a lot of people think he will, and we can keep our assistants for a few years we could add a couple non stop flights to Miami from XNA.

Kirkland, Nelson, Estine, Moore, Collins etc, etc.
4-5 S. Florida kids a year could help ensure higher regarded players from the area look at us harder than ever. Having 15-20 S. Florida kids on the roster at any given time surely should help improve the on field resutls.

Petrino and crew seemed to have wasted so much time and resources in Arizona they let Texas recruiting fall way behind.

oh and I'm enjoying Kiero's trash talking of Ray Lewis' facemask.

Walked by Kiero on Dickson Saturday. Dude is tiny IRL, I couldn't believe it. Dude hits hard but doubt he's gonna be big enough to make it in the pros

ETA: Also all I could think of is Cheshire's avi

8:32 UPDATE: Just spoke to Dean and there is a very high chance he'll commit on his official visit this weekend. He was visited by Chris Ash for two hours tonight and is on cloud 9 about the offer. He said his dad has been sending film to Arkansas ever since last year and they are just now showing real interest. Haynes told him tonight that Arkansas is ready to go ahead and offer him to be a Razorback. He had over 40 tackles and 5 picks this year. They want him at corner. I asked him what the chances are of him committing this weekend and he said "high." He said the SEC competition is just too much to turn down.

His position on Rivals is an ATH and we are putting him on defense?

Yeah, you are suppose to promise to let them try out on offense first then move to defense, then when offense doesn't work out, they transfer out instead.

Today Rick Massey, a great supporter, allowed us to use his plane and recruit on a national level. Great to be a Razorback & thank you Rick!

I hope that kid is an SEC athlete. It is hard to tell much from his film aside from the fact that he is fast. His competition looks pretty bad.

Anyway, it is time to trust the coaches, I guess. Hopefully he can redshirt and develop into a contributor.

You guys like to throw out your snob appeal versus Hogville and I'm not saying you don't have an argument, but when you let Dale talk your program down just because he can hold serve with a bunch of louisiana in-breds, it really adversely affects your brand.
