Drew Morgan (big news)
Has closed his recruiting and will not be visiting Auburn. He told Bielema he's done. Story will follow but he spoke with Bielema and told him he's more than happy being a Razorback and sees no need to take that Auburn visit. Drew said he loves the new wide receivers coach and is very excited to work with him.

Coaches can talk about recruits to people off the record, and they do so all the time.

Yep. There is a reason why the "recruiting guys" have information and not all of it comes from the players

Whatever happened to Cox's son who walked on a couple years ago? He was a punter and had offers to stAte and other schools like that...

All the recruiting sites are reporting that we pulled Harding's offer now.

Auburn fans think we are making it up despite the fact that he didn't commit there on his visit this weekend and he too al.com that we still led. But yes of course we are just making it up to save face.

4:48 update
To expand more on the Khari Harding not being counted as an Arkansas commitment that was posted this morning at 10:57. Arkansas backed off of him last week and decided not to recruit him.

Recruiting Board Auburn fans really did think we were spinning until one of them provided an Auburn source that said we did pull his offer.

I think the trolling is getting old to Tencent.

quote:

Altee Tenpenny, Rivals100 running back from North Little Rock High School in Ark., traveled to Fayetteville this weekend for an official visit to Arkansas. The Alabama commitment recaps the trip and more.

"Everything went good this weekend," said Tenpenny. "It was cool. The new coaching staff is different than the last one. The last one was all business. This one feels like a more family-type atmosphere. Everyone is on the same page.

"Every part of my visit was good. I wouldn't say there was one thing that stood out over anything else. I really enjoyed everything. The Catfish Hole on Friday night was something I'll never forget. It was a great experience.

"Tevin Mitchel and Cordale Boyd--they are cool. I have a lot of respect for those guys. I look up to both of them. I talked to Hunter [Henry], Drew Morgan, Austin Allen, really all the Fayetteville guys. They weren't really on me too hard. We were all just chilling. There wasn't much recruiting going on."

Tenpenny is building a close relationship with the new Razorback coaching staff.

"I spent most of my time with the running backs coach [Joel Thomas]," he said. "He was telling me about how he coaches. He talked about his relationship with the players. He is real down-to-earth type of coach.

"Coach Bielema was telling me about the next couple of years. He talked about my decision won't only affect me the next four or five years, but the rest of my life. It's a life decision. He told me to choose the best school for me in the long run. When I went there I did feel like a priority. They made me feel wanted and all that good stuff."

The biggest question everyone wants to know will Tenpenny will switch his commitment from Alabama to the home-state school?

"I don't think it's going to be a tough decision for me," he said. "As long as I am comfortable at the school it doesn't matter to me what everyone else has to say. It just matters to me and my family. I still consider myself a solid commitment to Alabama.

"I spoke to coach Groh. He was just checking in on me to see how everything was going. I'm committed to Alabama. I will likely make my final decision before signing day though. It's between Alabama and Arkansas."

A new school is working to receive an official visit next weekend.

"Auburn did visit me last Thursday," Tenpenny said. "They want me to visit next weekend. I talked to coach Horton. I have a lot of respect for him. He was recruiting me when he was at Arkansas. I haven't made a final decision yet if I will visit. I'll make that decision later this week."
