So do you take oft-injured Marcus Robinson or Antonio Longino? With the # of LB offers still out there we thought Robinson or Ellis might be in danger of getting dropped.
Personally, I don't like it for the young men, but more so as some have said JLS and the losers should not have been offering kids that are Vandy and Kentucky level recruits at best.
I saw that Randy Shannon is meeting with Brooks Ellis and his parents today, curious how that will turn out. Shannon isn't messing around, he's acting like he's planning on being here awhile and isn't interested in lesser recruits. These guys are hell bent on winning as soon as possible.
You have a 3-4 year window to turn it around now, you can't waste scholarships when you can get better players. The players are your job security.

Ellis is a legit LB. If they even think of dropping him then they better have an all-star ready to take his place because that will burn all sorts of bridges.

Remember when Petrino came in and honored all the scholarships to those committed to Nutt?
Yeah, we know its cause he really wasn't that great at recruiting now, but I'm glad CBB didn't do this as the staff last year sandbagged the season and had the class pretty well full with commitments and was trying to fill it up until CBB was hired, apparently they (Horton) was taking commitments up until CBB was announced and some of these didn't make their way to the recruiting sites...
So yeah, some of these guys are going to have sour grapes and hate the UofA forever and be cussing the Hogs every morning when they wake up at the fine JUCOs and Sunbelt/ConUSA universities they find themselves at and I just hate that for them.

Those assholes were really trying to burn this place to the ground at every chance they got.
I'm not sure which is more despicable, their "efforts" and getting a plump bonus for it, or Hootie and the boys taking everything that wasn't nailed down on their way out the doors.

Yeah, I'm not sure.
Apparently, JLS and crew took a commitment from a punter in Australia, that is kinda cool when you look at the success LSU has had with theirs. The problem was no one on staff mentioned this to 2bees until the kid called wondering if things were still on.
So yeah, lets go ahead and burn a bridge to Australia on our way out, shite heads.
Apparently, there has been other "commitments" where this occurred as well, so maybe there has also been others that CBB hasn't called because he didn't know they were commits? I'm sure Horton was using this info as leverage for a raise...

btw, I'm looking forward to making graphics/sigs when Les Miles/Saban/Brian Kelly/Gus etc. take their next jobs.
Will be a take off of the destination job sig. Will simply be an edit to "He said Stepping Stone"

To bad no one is ever going to hire Les. Well I guess that's good, but would be funny for awhile

Devon Allen coming to town Jan 18. Isn't Austin Bennett coming for a visit too? Or has he gone solid to OU?
I hope Brandon and Devon had a chance to see the future furing their Semper Fi practices.

SIAP this is from yesterday written by Mike Farrell, rivals national recruiting guy.
quote:
No. 37 RB Altee Tenpenny: Tenpenny has been committed to Alabama for some time, but with Bret Bielema and his rushing attack now at Arkansas, Tenpenny's official visit to the Hawgs on Jan. 18 is a huge one. I get the feeling Tenpenny could flip and stay home.

Joe Sanders, a 6-5, 270 DE who's currently committed to Tennessee, was offered by Chris Ash and Arkansas last night
