frick Bama. I was hoping the Bielema hire would have helped us out like with Jackson.

Just spoke to Cooper, 6-1, 245, and he's receiving mail from Alabama, Arkansas, Arkansas State, Nebraska, Georgia, Michigan, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and others here lately. He was invited to the Alabama-Auburn game earlier this season and enjoyed his trip there. He said he doesn't know much about Arkansas' new coach but is excited to hear more from them when they reach out to him. Jarvis is about as humble as they come and it's like pulling teeth to get him to talk about himself, but I like that. His coach told him his 29 tackles for loss this year was an incredible stat, but Jarvis, who isn't happy with how he played this season, told him "anybody can get three tackles behind the line per game."

I used to coach a kid who hangs out with Cooper almost daily so he shoots it straight to me anytime I ask.
He likes Ole Miss too because its close. Went to a game their last year and had the time of his life. But I think that was due to it was his first visit anywhere and he was on the field, it was all new to him.

TE Bandon Vandenburg, 6-6, 260, 4.7 of College of the Desert in Cal. said while not 100%, he'll probably make an official visit to Arkansas Jan. 25 unless something comes up. Razorback OC-QB coach Jim Chaney is his lead recruiter.
3*, offers from Nebraska, Ole Miss, Tennessee, KSU, Miami, A&M to name a few.

Ugh that didn't help our cause at all. Dude needs to come up for a better game next year.

Might as well be a 4 star

You can never have to many TE's imo. Considering what we have on campus already, I definitely wouldn't mind seeing us take 3.

I'm with ya on 3 TE's. I think we talked about it earlier when Morgan decommited about taking 3, but realistically looking for one to be a JUCO to spread out the natural roster turnover.

Breaking them up into positions helps me see the distribution of the class better.
You can easily see why Cogswell and Jordan got their walking papers. I don't believe we'll be seeing any more 5 WR sets. We def. have a huge need at S, not much talent there at the moment and the #'s are thin to boot.
I wonder if we can snag Reeve Koehler and his 4* LB teammate if we'll keep with 5 LBs or drop Robinson?
We've got 10 spots left if the current commit list holds true. I can see us taking 2 RB's (Tenpenny, Collins, Newby, Wilkins, Marshall, James etc. any 2 of those should be solid, Collins and Newby being my preference)
Maybe a juco TE, another juco OL, leaving 6 spots.
Would we take Korliss Marshall and BJ Ross and see where we can fit them in? leaving 4.
I'm sure we'll grab 2 OL, I'm hoping for Koehler and Skipper. leaves 2 spots
Do we sign a DT or roll the dice with 3 SEC level DT's in state next year? Likely Monty Nelson, leaving 1 spot left. Sojourn Shelton possibly? Ol' Jersey Vinnie? Antonio Longino? or another OT as we probably should do?

I have a feeling we are going to end up with a better class than we could have imagined regardless.

should be much better than anything petrino put together.

I didn't think Coach B was going to be that great of a recruiter but it sounds like he is the main recruiter for Alex Collins and the kids HS coach loves coach B.

"Coach Bielema has always been down here," Gatewood said. "I've known Coach Bielema since he was at Iowa. That's when I first became a head coach down here in Broward County. Iowa just started coming into South Florida."
Gatewood complemented the way Bielema relates to the athletes in the area. "They're different, the way recruiting goes and the way our kids live life is a little bit different than anywhere else and he understands them," Gatewood said. "He does well with them and always has."
ecause kids in south Florida have advice coming from numerous angles, Gatewood said college coaches must be truthful.
"People in the neighborhood, people in the parks, people always having an opinion," Gatewood said. "So who ever recruits them has to be honest with them upfront and Coach Bielema is always honest and upfront with you." Gatewood said Bielema is a great coach that cares for his players.
"He loves his kids," Gatewood said. "I know it probably crushed him leaving those kids at Wisconsin but he's always a good guy and he always puts his kids first and a lot of people are going to go against that because of what he just did but trust me, I'm sure it was hard decision for him to make ."

I hope we can land at least one of these bigtime back that we are after. I can easily see us striking out on all three since it's so late in the game but man that would be a game changer if we could score just one of them.

Would you really want to go to wisconsin? I keep hearing how it's a great town up there but all I can think of is cold winters and husky women
