Certainly not a GREAT class by any stretch of the imagination, but I'm pleasantly surprised. I really didn't think they'd be able to get much in terms of early commitments. Getting 12 guys to commit to a program that will likely be going through some pretty huge changes in the next 4-5 months is impressive.
The real test will be KEEPING these guys committed through the coaching change(s).

Surprisingly no. The class star or points average currently has us sitting at #24 overall and #8 in the SEC.
In comparison to the '12 class, our first 12 commits last year had a points average of 87.42. Our current 12 have a points average of 86.17 but Mike Tavarres hasn't been rated yet which is dragging our average down. He should be rated soon which will increase our score no matter what. If he is rated at minimum an 85, which is probably to low, then our average will be an 87.42 which would be the exact same as this time last year.
