With such few spots remaining, Skinner must have really impressed at camp. Isn't that how he got the Arkansas offer too? Personally, I love kids that show up to camps and earn offers. It's why we have Mathieu right now and he's maybe the greatest defensive playmaker to ever dawn an LSU uniform.

I'm with you on that...Skinner reminds me of Chris Gragg coming out of high school. Pretty much the same player and both would be GREAT players for us

As much as we're going to miss BP on the sidelines, I don't think anyone should really want that to happen, simply for what it will do for our recruiting.
Yeah, you might get a few high caliber offensive stars, but it will provide opposing teams a LOT of ammunition when they're in the living rooms talking to Mom and Dad. Especially given the prior knocks against him.

No way am I watching that just to be crushed. I'm done with watching big time recruits announce after the DGB debacle.
It is going to be interesting though to see how the posters on RT spin this to be Long's fault. Those guys are becoming highly creative in their conspiracy theories.

Same here. The DGB deal was the final straw. I refuse to believe ANYTHING from "insiders" about well....ANYTHING (coaching hires included). And maybe the DGB thing wasn't their fault but no more disappointment for me.
I'm really not going to follow recruiting nearly as closely as I usually do either.
