If I was a TE, Arkansas would be my #1 option going into next year. I don't understand why we aren't loaded there already. Henry needs to commit then I won't care much about the Skinner kid

IF Petrino was still the coach or we were for sure going to keep the same offensive system then yeah but we could just as easily hire a spread coach that has no use for a TE or a smashmouth coach that just wants him to block and never gets targeted. That's a big risk for a kid to take who is a pass catching TE.

LSU only has 5 spots left, and already has 2 TE and 3 WR committed. Guess they could offer Skinner if he really blew up big time.

Memphis was saying the same thing about them probably offering him so I am guessing their getting their info from behind a pay wall since there isn't much chatter about him.

If Skinner flips I don't think I'll be too heartbroken. It seems that every player we've gotten from S. LA has been way over-rated, undersized, or played out of position.

I loved Jerico Nelson but he should've been at safety. He was weak against the run but the guy was a good player for us. Ditto with Tony Bua. Bua's PF penalty still makes me mad. I'd hope now that we've expanded our recruiting footprint we won't have to start guys that couldn't crack the 2 deep at other big schools.

Good news for you guys, Les offered and Skinner said, not a quote here but close, that he would wait to see how LSU would handle the TE position this year till he makes a decision, he gonna get a 4 star bump soon..FYI

I hope your TE's never get the ball thrown their way this season.

our #1 TE has like 9 career receptions so we'll see what happens.

Damn, I knew you didn't throw to the TE as much as us but I didn't realize it was that drastic.

Just keep getting those WR's the ball. OBJ is my new favorite player.

They'll feed him the company line, promise all sorts of plays to feature him, show him a nicely leather bound playbook with all sorts of TE centered plays, a video of all 9 catches by the TE's edited to look like 60, run a list of all their draft picks, and get the flip and he'll never be heard from again.

I'd make sure to mention the name "Armand Williams" to Skinner if I were an Arkansas coach.

buried on the depth chart, barely playing. Only got in 2 games last season. Pretty sure he'd have played a ton more if he had stuck w/ his commitment to us.

If he sticks with Arkansas, will it have been a 'commitable offer' from LSU?

We actually did back when we had richard dickson, he had around 30-35 receptions in '07. The production has really fallen off since then. Our TEs haven't been that talented and everyone is well aware of our QB issues since then. It's going to increase as soon as we get some reliable pass catching TEs and some good QB play.

Beisel says Arkansas is his leader right now but he clarified it's because the visit is the freshest in his mind. I look for Missouri to still get his commit after his visit there next week.

He did sound blown away by the defensive staff however. He definitely has a man crush on Taver. I stand by my statement that I think he would commit to the Hogs today if the staff was guaranteed to be there past this season.

Hope this gets cleared up with enough time to flip some guys at the end.

I wonder if HH's press conf. time of 4:00pm might be a little tip to where he's going?

I hope Holgorsen keeps the entire defensive staff when he heads this way in December
