Very likely! Tail steered me to San Diego for 2 years. Tail is surprisingly powerful...

Check out this BAMF if you haven't. This is the guy who is gonna make Tyler Wilson put a T on his jersey. 6'3", moves like Joe Adams, highlights vs JUCO:

Paul Petrino raved about Demetrius Wilson on signing day

ETA: shite should have posted that in the 2012 thread. Oh well, :dwi: WR and QB are never going to be concerns for us as long as BMFP is here.

I wanted Gardner and Wilson if we didn't get DGB, but Wilson looks like he is going to compliment Cobi extremely well this year. We replaced speed and agility with speed and agility. I'm excited about this guy.

Its going to be interesting to see who steps up in spring practice. Its hard to believe its been 4 years since we last had a competition for the starting WR spots.

There will be some surprises for sure. Spring practice will be pretty interesting, especially with the large number of guys we redshirted last year stepping up.

Petrino used the phrase "Elite Redshirts" at some point during a post season press conference.

Tyler Gilbert(LB/DE)
Robert Atiga(LB)
Brock Haman(LB)
Quinta Funderburke (WR)
Rohan Gaines (Safety)
Andrew Peterson (TE) ----I suspect this dude is going to be big time.
Kane Whitehurst (CB)
Sleepy McKinney (CB)

I'm sure there are a lot more, I am just going off the top of my head.

I think it was like 17 of 25 redshirted.

I think I am the only hog fan that isn't excited about Funderburke. For some reason I don't think he is going to be a star. I will happily eat crow if he turns out awesome.

I honestly hadn't seen any film on Wilson so I wasn't to excited him signing....but damn we got a stud.

That guy can run. His routes are sharp as hell. He gets off the line quick as a cat. Only bad thing I saw on film is on some plays he has a TINY buckstep. Once they get that corrected and he has no wasted movement....People might not be able to touch him on the line.

Probably because the only real new out of him so far is when he thought about leaving the team.

He gained some weight this past year and he'll get some major playing time next year, imo.

I was never impressed with Humphrey's hands, and I have a feeling that Funderburke's hands will be suspect come game time.

Out of the young receivers we have, I am looking forward to Herndon and Minor. Out of the new recruits I am extremely excited about Wilson, and I think Cowan, Hatcher, and Hawkins will be contributors in the future.

little Jr day list so far.

Mark Dodson, RB, Memphis, Tennessee

Brooks Ellis, LB, Fayetteville, Arkansas
Jason Hatcher, DE/LB, Louisville, Kentucky
Cody Thomas, QB, Colleyville, Texas

There will be MANY more than that, but that is the early 'headliners'.

Also, Elite '13 WR Ahmad Fulwood named his top 5 of Alabama, Arkansas, Clemson, Georgia and Ohio St

Funderburke is a fun name to say, so he's got that going for him.

I heard Bo say Austin Flynn (juco DE/LB) is considered to be the most ready DE prospect in the nation by some folks. He is already our strongest player in the weightroom. I can't wait to see what he's got this spring.
