Hurts, Scarb, Sims and Foster are just not going to lead to many points. But, if they win, they win.

Yeah, he's an idiot for sure. No doubt you and several others are far better at player evaluation than Nick.

So Hootie Jones a better football player than Deionte Thompson? Or is Saban incapable of making mistakes?

There is something with the D Harris not playing very much.

Harris got 19 carries last night, Bo got 12. Each got two receptions.

That's a pretty normal breakdown for how Saban likes to use backs. Here are the carries for the winning title games under Saban.

Carries Vs Texas in 2009
Ingram 22
Richardson 19
Upchurch 2

Vs LSU in 2011
Richardson 20
Lacy 11

Vs Notre Dame in 2012
Lacy 20
Yeldon 21

Vs Clemson 2015
Henry 36
Drake 1

2015 is the outlier where Drake was coming off an injury and we literally had no other experienced scholarship backs available.

I agree there have been times this year were Harris appeared to be severely underutilized, but that really wasn't the case last night.

Deonte Thompson had a good game last night. Hootie Jones has had good ones too.

One guy sees the players every day at practice, has numerous national championships to his credit, and is considered one of the best to ever coach the game. The other is a message board poster who thinks he knows more.

It really isn't hard to decide who's opinion should be trusted.

Hurts and play calling started nice enough, but both reverted back to normal. Thankfully the early 3rd and shorts along with the conversions allowed the D to be ready for the second half. (points be damned)

Dabol can't throw to a wide open Ridley. He can't ake Jalen check his 2nd read. If Saba wanted Tua in the game he'd be playing.

He needs to give up on Bo. We have too many really good other backs. His play calling was fine as far as I'm concerned.

I do think LSU wins if Notre Dame doesn't play their 2nd string QB in the 2nd half.
