Florida's problems are as much institutional as coaching. They need to get rid of the AD before they do anything else.

Napier should get at least another year--his recruiter has been improving--but he's got to demonstrate that he's heading in the right direction. The Miami game was a complete debacle.

August 31 vs #19 Miami (Loss)
September 7 vs Samford
September 14 vs Texas A&M
September 21 at Mississippi State
October 5 vs UCF
October 12 at Tennessee
October 19 vs Kentucky
November 2 vs Georgia
November 9 at Texas
November 16 vs LSU
November 23 vs Ole Miss
November 30 at Florida State

They won't go 2-10, but they may be an underdog in 9 of their next 11 games. After Samford they could lose any game on their schedule.

Agreed. UF just does not have institutional comittment at this time. It’s going to take a strong AD and President behind the program. They are going nowhere fast

They parted ways with Ben Sasse, their former president not too long ago and renamed his predecessor as interim pres. He’s not going to do jack as far as making big crucial decisions with hirings and firings. Billy’s job may be safer than we think just because of the leadership vacuum in the administration right now.

Gator fans are in hell with Strickland as their AD. He hired Billy and continues to stand behind him currently. The longer Billy stay the more they decline. The schedule also does no favors.
