It’s obvious Smitty had the Goat season a Reciever has ever had at Alabama(and arguably CFB history) but who has the 2nd best season in program history?

2014 Amari: 14 games

124 Receptions
1727 yards
13.9 ypc
16 TDs

2021 Jameson: 13 games

68 receptions
1445 yards
21.3 ypc (OMG)
15 TDs

I’d give the edge to Jameson

Jameson is absurd! It’s hard to pick a best WR at this point with Bama thanks to Saban though.

I would go with Amari. 124 rec shows how important he was to the offense and he did it without having anyone as good as Metchie across the field to take the defensive focus off of him.

Also, he did it in a run heavy offense. The ypc is very impressive for Williams.

Chris Olave, the guy ahead of Jameson at Ohio State on the depth chart and the reason Jameson transferred came to the SEC championship game to support Jameson. Respect.

Amari did that with Blake sims and no other legit receiving threat.

Jameson Williams season is similar to Jerry Juedy in 2018.

Juedy had

68 catches
1315 yards
19.3 ypc
14 TDs.

Cooper was the best college route runner I’d ever seen. He’d face bracket coverage and someone get away from the safety and corner by 5 yards.

Cooper looks like he put a lot of muscle on and it's slowed him down a bit.
