If I could see just one series where our fatasses up front put their hands in the dirt and their asses in the air and fired out to dent someone's face mask I'd be a lot happier. None of this passive zone blocking where they just try to wall someone off. No double teams where each OLineman gives a half assed effort and the DL just walks right through them. I'm talking firing out, down block, down block, pull and kick out.

You're not going to be happy because what's going to happen is they're going to end up with OL can do double team block, cross block, and pull block. It just takes time to develop the talent on OL. Frankly, I feel like we should have been less worried about retention on the OL because a lot of the veteran talent or recruits inherited from Saban's class simply do not fit. We should have just bought guys who can play in this type of scheme.

I think we’re at worst a decent team. We have some trends on the road that hold us back from being great and in the NC hunt. DeBoer will have a chance to prove me wrong in two weeks.
