I feel like Howard beat his "man", and Golson came out of nowhere. But I may be remembering it entirely wrong.

That's exactly what happened. The pass left him out to dry.

It wasn't the best throw ever. OJ was hardly left out to dry though. The ball hit him in the hands despite the fact that he made no real effort to make a play in the air.

We was attempting an over the shoulder catch.
Left out to dry as in it gave the safety time to get over there to either light him up or make the pick.

Fans make terrible coaches. Do we have any more suggestions

I agree the throw hung in the air, and Blake led OJ back toward the safety. Still, it wasn't much of an effort. OJ seems like a really good athlete who is still a work in progress as a player. That's a play you'd like to see your 5 star tight end make.

Two holding calls, dropped passes, and the int. at the end.
He has got to improve.

OJ did the exact same thing against WVU. Made his QB look bad because he had no desire to even try and make a play on the ball. This time, his laziness ended the ballgame with a loss. It was a piss poor effort. Ole Miss wanted it more, and they deserved to win. .
