Washington Nearly Had an Epic Choke

Not sure why they weren't just kneeling at the end. Hand-off, RB gets hurt and stops the clock when they had the game won. I was really high on Washington winning it all until those last 2 minutes where they looked like they were trying to throw the game.
Glad they held on...I didn't want to see Texas waltz into the sEC as defending NCs...they'd have been insufferable.

I had the in game under at 68.5 and Washington money line. I was about to stroke out watching the last minute of that game. Lol.

If they had just took a knee, there still would have been a few seconds left, not nearly as many as Texas ended up with.

The Longhorns are 4-point favorites, according to the latest Washington vs. Texas odds via SportsLine consensus, while the over/under is 62.5 points.
Looks like your timing could have been better and saved you some stress.

A bad rule led to this. I totally agreed with them running plays. A first down would have let them run out the clock. An injury to a team trying to run out the clock giving a free time out to the D is really atrocious. Not starting the clock on the ready signal there makes zero sense.
The previous series was when UW screwed up their clock management. QB had a throw at from about the 10 yard line to stop the clock before they kicked a chip shot fg.
