Any word on when players may report, safety plans, etc?

I thought I read voluntary activities will resume on June 8.

June 8th. Coaches aren’t allowed to be on the field.. similar to summer workout.
What I’m curious to see how the safety rules will be implemented. Will it be certain groupings and etc?

Will also be the first offseason without Cochran. Curious of the
new offseason strategy.

I fully expect our team to get faster and have less injuries. I'm slightly curious to see if we give up some brute strength to get those two things. Not saying it's not a good trade, just curious to see how that balances out. If we are fast as hell and never get injured but are getting pushed around in the trenches, that would not be ideal.

New blood, new regime on the workouts, I expect less injuries and more explosiveness later in the season.

With Cochran gone, who will be the primary staff member at workouts? Jeff Banks? Or will it be one of the new S&C coaches? Or maybe someone else?

Pretty sure it will be David Ballou, our new S/C coach.

uh...why wouldn't it be the guy hired to replace cochran, hmm... ballou and his staff will be overseeing summer workouts, just like cochran did, i would presume.

With no other sports on at the moment, I hope offseason programs get more coverage. Would be cool to see some look-ins, etc

Not having a Spring camp definitely helped Alabama: No new injuries, everyone is fresh in summer work out and I expect everyone to be ready to go.

The only reason I asked is the new S&C duo have yet to see these guys do anything in person. I thought it might be Banks simply because he is more likely to be familiar with the players, routines, etc.

I really want to disagree with this but I can't. With injuries over the last 3 years it would be cool to start game one with the real two deep. It probably hurt the early enrollees to a degree but at one time you didn't really even have em in there for spring ever. If Bryce is as advertised he will see plenty of playing time.

ETA: The NCAA actually just released this update, along with the extension of the recruiting dead period:
Division I recruiting dead period extended through July 31 (NCAA.org)
quote:
The Division I Council Coordination Committee extended the recruiting dead period in all sports through July 31.
“The extension maintains consistent recruiting rules for all sports and allows coaches to focus on the student-athletes who may be returning to campus,” said Council chair M. Grace Calhoun, athletics director at Pennsylvania. “The committee is committed to reviewing the dead period again in late June or early July.”
The committee will regularly evaluate the dead period, continuing to be guided by medical experts.
Virtual physical activities
Additionally, the committee decided to allow strength and conditioning coaches to virtually observe voluntary physical workouts for health and safety purposes but only if requested by the student-athlete. The measure goes into effect June 1. The strength and conditioning coach will be allowed to observe the workouts and discuss items related to voluntary workouts but not direct or conduct the workout.
The decision was supported by the Committee on Safeguards and Medical Aspects of Sports Prevention and Performance Subcommittee. The subcommittee encouraged schools that decide to allow their strength and conditioning coaches to observe voluntary workouts to proactively consider the school’s overarching responsibility to protect the health of and provide a safe environment for each student-athlete. More specifically, the subcommittee stressed that schools should plan for how the strength and conditioning coach should respond if they observe an unsafe workout environment or in the event that a medical emergency occurs during a voluntary session.
The committee will continue to explore the opportunity for strength and conditioning coaches to conduct voluntary workouts virtually, as they do during in-person, on-campus voluntary workouts.
