No. 25 Alabama Falls, 2-0, in Penalty Kick Shootout Against No. 21 Mississippi State

The Crimson Tide battled the Bulldogs to a 1-1 draw at the conclusion of 110 minutes of action in the quarterfinals of the SEC Tournament

Following a 1-1 draw after 110 minutes of action, the fifth seed and No. 25 nationally ranked Alabama soccer team (11-4-5, 5-4-1 SEC) fell in a 2-0 penalty kick shootout against fourth-seeded and No. 21 Mississippi State (10-4-5, 5-3-2 SEC) in the quarterfinals of the Southeastern Conference Tournament.

Both teams concluded regulation in a 1-1 draw, forcing the Crimson Tide's first overtime match since the quarterfinals of the 2022 NCAA Tournament against Duke. Brooke Steere netted a goal for the Tide in the 24th minute of the game following a corner kick, but a penalty kick by the Bulldogs in the second half evened the score.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The No. 19 men's and No. 20 women's Alabama swimming and diving teams concluded their first road meet of the season Saturday as the Tide swept LSU and split with Florida State.

The Alabama women defeated Florida State 183-117 before taking a dominant win over LSU 219-81. The Tide men topped the Tigers 152-148, before dropping a narrow contest to the No. 24 Seminoles 151-149.

From Head Coach Margo Geer
