Dumbest schedule ever. We don't need an extra day of meet, with only diving, especially since there are only 3 diving events to begin with. I find it hilarious day 1 and day 2 finals start at 4:20

Alabama concluded the second day of the Southeastern Conference Championships with a pair of school records, setting a new standard in the 800-yard freestyle relay and the 200-yard freestyle.

The Alabama contingent of Charlie Hawke, Kaique Alves, Tommy Hagar and Leo Alcantara posted a time of 6:11.27 to top the prior 6:12.46 record set at last year's SEC Championships. The race was aided by a school record 200-yard freestyle time as Hawke swam a 1:30.75 as the leadoff swimmer to lead the team to a fourth-place finish in the event. Hawke's 200 freestyle time topped his 1:31.20 mark also set at the 2023 conference championships.

After the second night of competition the men's team is in sixth place with 116 points as the women sit in seventh with 127.

Damn great swim. Pissed we got touched out by auburn at the end. Not gonna complain too much about an a cut relay. Now that men's 200 medley relay 0.07 under the b cut ain't gonna cut it. This is a relay we've won a couple times at NCAAs in the last decade, and now we're not even qualifying to appear for it. Kind of a preview for the remaining 3 relays.

Girls also got touched out by auburn in the 200 medley relay, but they dropped an automatic qualifying time. Can't be too hard on them for that performance.

Only thing she's good for is advice on how to turn a back to back top 5 team at NCAAs into a non top 5 team at SECs, in 2 seasons flat... while somehow managing to get a fricking raise in the process

1). After each dive the announcer said something, sounded like “abort” to me. What did he actually say and why?

2) If a diver falls off the platform before competing the dive (losing balance), if there a penalty?

Man, I really wish I could answer these on my own, but I'd honestly have to ask a diver. I do apologize, but I spend the diving segments talking shite to my swimmer friends from other schools

3) Wasn’t terribly impressed by Auburn’s natatorium (?), how does our compare?

We just did 30 million in upgrades to our facility a few years back. Our pool is nice af, as is our outdoor pool. With that said UF's facilities are dog shite in comparison, yet they're pretty damn good. I've never enjoyed swimming at Auburn, but the Martin center isn't straight up terrible, just been 3 decades since it was updated. I've always thought it needs better ventilation, because the chlorine smell hits you pretty hard.
