Alabama Soccer Announces Spring Schedule
The Crimson Tide will host four games at the Alabama Soccer Stadium
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama soccer team announced its 2023 spring schedule on Wednesday. The schedule features four home games and two road competitions against Southeastern Conference foes.
After hosting Montevallo on Feb. 25 in the spring opener, the Crimson Tide heads to Oxford, Miss., on March 25 to face Ole Miss, before traveling to Starkville, Miss., on April 5 to take on Mississippi State.
Alabama returns to Tuscaloosa on April 15 for a double header with UAB at 1 p.m. CT and Columbus State at 4 p.m. CT. UA will close its spring slate, hosting fellow College Cup competitor Florida State on April 29.

SEC Indoor Championships Await Alabama Track and Field this Weekend
The Alabama track and field teams are set to compete at the SEC Indoor Championships, Feb. 24-25, at Arkansas' Randal Tyson Track Center.
The two-day meet will feature preliminary action on the track on Friday with event finals taking place on Saturday.
The Crimson Tide will open the postseason meet Friday afternoon (1:30 p.m. CT) in the men's pole vault final. The first preliminary event for Alabama will be the men's and women's mile at 4 p.m.

Alabama Strikes Gold on Opening Day of SEC Track and Field Indoor Championships
The Crimson Tide claimed four gold medals across four different events
The Alabama track and field teams kicked off the first day of the SEC Indoor Championships in style by striking gold in four different events.
Bobby Colantonio Jr. set the pace for the Crimson Tide, defending his individual title in the men's weight throw. Alabama would secure its remaining gold medals on the track, sweeping the 5,000-meter races behind efforts from Victor Kiprop and Mercy Chelangat. UA's distance medley crew (Jami Reed, Amara Obi, Flomena Asekol and Hilda Olemomoi) ended the day with yet another first-place finish for the Tide, clocking 11:04.99. The performance is now UA's second-fastest time in program history.
Alabama closed the first day with the men tied for first in the team standings with 28 points, while the women's squad is sixth with 23 points.

Eight Alabama Swimmers Punch Ticket to NCAA Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships
The Crimson Tide will look to add divers to the NCAA meet at the upcoming NCAA Zone B Diving Championships
Rolling to the National Championships
* Kensey McMahon earned her NCAA qualifying ticket in the 500 freestyle with a time of 4:40.03
* McMahon will also represent the Crimson Tide in the 1,650 freestyle as the reigning SEC champion punched her NCAA ticket with an automatic, qualifying time of 15:47.02
* Cat Wright (1:55.82), Diana Petkova (1:56.31), Avery Wiseman (1:58.00) all punched their way through in the 200 individual medley. The trio will also race in the 100 breaststroke.
* Jocelyn Fisher will be the fourth representative for Alabama in the 100 breaststroke, earning her NCAA qualifying berth with a time of 59.61
* Rhyan White (51.47) and Emily Jones (52.28) both punched their NCAA ticket in the 100 butterfly
* White earned an automatic NCAA spot in the 100 backstroke with a time of 50.84, and will be joined by Jones (52.36). The duo will also swim in the 200 backstroke.
* Kalia Antoniou (47.46) and Petkova (48.86) will also race in the 100 freestyle
* Wiseman will represent Alabama in the 200 breastroke with an automatic, qualifying time of 2:05.85. White (2:08.10) and Fisher (2:09.36) will also swim in the event.
* Alabama will also be taking Mackenzie Brandt, Kasia Norman and Kailyn Winter for relays, where the Tide has qualified for the 200 medley and 400 medley

Alabama Rowing Sweeps Eastern Michigan on Senior Day
The Crimson Tide finished first in every race and concluded the day celebrating its senior class
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama rowing hit its home water on the Black Warrior River Saturday morning, sweeping Eastern Michigan in its first and only home race of the spring season.
In the first race of the day, Alabama's 4V8+ held off Eastern Michigan's 3V8+ as the Crimson Tide crew secured the victory over the Eagles. The Crimson Tide swept the 4s race, with its 1V4+ boat leading the pack and Alabama's 2V4+ crew following behind as Eastern Michigan came through last.
UA's 3V8+ squad crossed ahead of Eastern Michigan's 2V8+ boat, before the Tide's 2V8+ and 1V8+ rowed first-second, respectively, past the Golden Eagles' 1V8+ crew to conclude the morning of racing, as well as solidify the dual race sweep.
Saturday's events also featured the senior day ceremony as the Crimson Tide honored its six seniors and graduate students: Saskia Dammersmith, Emma Ewell, Blythe Markel, Gianna Rucki, Kristen Rupinen and Rachel Tullis.
