F all of that noise, 10k open water is straight up not having a good time. I do kinda want to hit her up to do the jax beach 5k open water swim. A couple buddies have been doing it the last couple years, and I'd love to see her beat an ncaa champ from auburn and UF's former team manager. Given we're over 40 now, I really like her odds

Charlie Hawke has put down some incredible times at Australia's selection meet. Probably around top 50 in the world type times.

The loss caps an impressive rookie campaign for Filip Planinsek, which included a team-leading 22 singles wins and SEC Freshman of the Year honors

Alabama's Filip Planinsek concluded his season Tuesday in the second round of the NCAA Singles Championships, falling 6-2, 6-3 to Ohio State's Matej Vocel at the Khan Outdoor Tennis Complex.

Alabama Swimming & Diving’s Kensey McMahon Earns Spot on U.S. World Championships Team

It was definitely a busy weekend for Alabama swimmer Kensey McMahon. After finishing 15th in the 10-kilometer race in Saturday's FINA Marathon Swim World Series in Setúbal, Portugal, the All-American distance ace was named to Team USA's roster for the 2022 FINA World Championships. McMahon will swim the 25-kilometer race in Budapest, Hungary in late June.

McMahon qualified via a points-based system based off results from April's U.S. Open Water National Championships and Saturday's FINA Marathon Swim World Series Portugal, where she finished 15th overall and fourth among Americans with a time of 2:06:02.

In April, McMahon earned a top-10 finish in the 10-kilometer open water race at the 2022 United States Open Water Championships at Lynn Hall Beach Park in Fort Myers Beach, Fla., taking eighth overall and fifth among Americans.

With her finish at the U.S. Open Water Championships, McMahon earned a place on the U.S. Open Water National Team after previously earning a place on the U.S. Swimming National Team in the summer of 2019.

McMahon is the second Alabama swimmer to earn a place on Team USA heading into the 2022 World Championships. 2020 Olympian and 2021 World Champion Rhyan White punched her ticket to Budapest in the 200-meter backstroke at the USA Swimming International Team Trials in April.
