In the last couple of minutes he got a block, an assist, and hit a 3. Looking good.

Without Rojas, Hawkins, Beetle, and Quinerly to boot. What a shitshow that would be.

I know it's still veryy early, but what are reasonable expectations for this team in sec play? A solid middle of tge pack 7-9 in the standings? Are we expecting the sec to be down compared to last season with tenn & au losing guys and maybe miss state? Of course lsu would be strong still if all remains the same right now? Where would we fit in?

We are one of the more talented teams in the SEC. Just gonna depend on how quickly everything meshes for the players and new staff. We should at least be a top 8 team in the SEC with a ceiling of top 4

It really seems a lot more wide open this year.

Kentucky and Florida would seem to be the clear favorites while Texas A&M, Missouri and Vandy may be the more likely to struggle.

It really would not surprise many people to see Bama along with the other 8 teams in between finish in about any order.

I expect a season where some teams picked around 10-11 preseason finish in the top 5 (like UT, AU, LSU have all done in recent seasons) and a few picked higher like UT for example to finish near the bottom.

I haven't really looked at our conference schedule that closely but would say that 9-9 or 10-8 would be very reasonable expectations even with the adjustment to the new system. If everything clicks, there's no reason we can't be up there like Ole Miss did last year.

That’s pretty much my thoughts too. I see about a 10-8 SEC record, middle of the pack, around 6th but safely in The Dance before the SEC tourney. 23-12 overall is my prediction after the SEC tourney is complete.

After having a good game in the limited minutes he played yesterday, Kira played a total of 2 minutes today and didn’t even get to take a shot. What a freaking joke. And it’s not that they’re resting him......he didn’t hardly play in any of the exhibition games and barely played yesterday. Bruce Weber favors the other guys over him for some reason. That’s not fair at all

He looked to me like he hurt his hand in the last few minutes of the game yesterday, he was holding it and grimacing a bit.

Maybe the other guys are better. I mean it’s not like this some team of scrubs.
