This would make a ton of sense. I kind of doubt Memphis has the funds to pay for three 5 stars in one class (especially two who occupy the same role). Taking a pure basketball angle, if Precious goes to memphis, us or LSU makes all the sense in the world for Watford. That LSU roster is cleared out and Wade does know how to get his best guys in great positions (See, Waters). Oats offense would seem to suit Watford very well too along with being on a more talented roster.

Some of you guys are getting way too butthurt over kids playing the game. If he commits to us, great. If not, it’s not the end of our program. He’s a highly rated recruit, and who knows if he will pan out in college or the pros. Let him have his fun.

Watford has been someone bama basketball fans have been talking about for 2+ years now. They have collectively put a lot of hope into him.

I wouldn't stress over a kid's descision.
We're gonna be fine either way.
Reminds me of 06 Shula wasting all his time to get Tebow to Bama when he should have been focusing on other positions of need like linebacker & D Lineman.

He had a bunch of Miami CB's to begin with, so maybe UGA got some momentum with him and Miami took it back? Not sure what Miami was doing elsewhere, maybe they missed on a guard?
OK so looking around, Beverly had his visit this past weekend to UGA. He didn't commit and apparently people were expecting at least a soft commit out of that so now Beverly is being tied back to Miami. However Miami has an official visit with Tristan Enaruna a higher ranked player ( 6'9 SF) on the 24th and that may change plans further.

All you dudes can act all high and mighty for always supporting the player but this shite is fishy as hell. I'd still take Watford in a heart beat so I won't go down that road but this dude knew the event he was committing at wasn't televised the entire time but as soon as WW is reinstated he decides he needs to postpone his announcement because the Jordan Classic isn't televised? Terrible excuse.
It's obvious as hell what's going on. That strong arse offer is back on the table and it pisses me off tbh. Good luck to Trendon, though. I'll look forward to Nate sweeping Wade's fat arse next year.

I think in terms of raw talent we are a top 25ish team... I don't see how in the first year of a complete program change we ever get close to 11 though.

Regarding Trendon: I’d love to have him in Crimson and I know nothing about the kid personally. But I will say, and TIFWIW, there has been a very widely circulated rumor out there for some time that Trendon was being shopped. The version I heard said it was family shopping him. I don’t know. But it’s awful coincidental that besides the in state school he’s supposedly a fan of, his 2 other choices are LSU and Memphis, both known to be in the business of buying players.
