If we miss on Trendon I am almost certain we end up with one of those two guys. We may end up with one of them regardless. If we add Trendon, who is another pretty big player, then we should go after another ball handler who can shoot if Fleming or Smith leave imo.
We have some good shooters, but really, Kira is really our only known good ball handler. Hard to play fast if you don't have a few of them, as we saw this year. We tried to play fast but it resulted in 20 turnovers a game. Kira, Bolden, Shackelford, and at least one more would be ideal.

Yea I hate to see Wood leave without giving it a chance. Maybe he was forced out
but seems coach wouldn’t/couldn’t make the call on him after a few practices

Completely agree with you there. I'm not high on Galin myself because he has his limitations, but he's not as bad as what a certain individual on here makes him out to be. If he leaves, I hope he succeeds wherever he goes, and if he stays I hope he can find a way to be a positive contributor. He doesn't seem like he has an attitude problem, and he plays hard.

My only concern with CNO was how well he would recruit with his short track record, his entire time in a small section of the country far from Tuscaloosa. Otherwise, I was amazed at what he had done in such a short time.
Well, he’s knocked recruiting out of the park, re-recruiting the entire roster while picking and choosing who might not be the best fit and encouraging them to move on. He landed his first commit and he never set foot on campus. He appears to be on the verge of landing Watford to go along with Bolden to add depth at PG.
We’ve yet to see what he will do on the court but so far, he’s just killing it.

Literally the last 20 pages everyone has talked about Galin and Dazon like they are horse shyt, and people were celebrating Diante transferring, but you’ve only got a problem if I do it? Stay in your lane, don’t worry about what I type.
Max effort shouldn’t earn you a college basketball scholarship. He’s complete garbage on the court, he shouldn’t even be playing at Samford. I could care less if you agree with that or not, watch a game or two.

You have a pattern of going after guys you want off the team and making it seem like your disdain for them is pretty personal. If you’ve got a problem getting called on it, don’t post it. Or keep posting it, and I’ll keep disagreeing. Doesn’t make a difference to me.

Seriously, how dumb was it for Avery to cut our practice time in half over the last month of the season? Seems like we blew a late lead in all those last few games and looked tired late in games.
The end of the season is not the time to stop conditioning. I knew that was gonna be a terrible plan when I heard it.
No wonder our guys were exhausted after one introductory practice with Oats.

Wrong or right its freedom of speech either way. I'm not gonna dog current players but if someone does, whatever, just please not Kira on twitter. Lol

Agree 100%. I think we all know Galin’s ceiling isn’t Shaq, but he gives good effort and his upside is that of a solid role player. But give bear and saban a week or two and he’ll go after another player on the team. We’ve all seen how he’s backed off in his hatred of Herb of late. He’ll probably go after Mack or Pretty or Kira next. The three best players we have.

Not everyone bro. I like Galin and think he has a lot to offer this team.

Well, I have to stick up for Avery here, he was blowing leads all year long even before he cut practice time down. He was Mr. Consistency when it came to choking games away.

Oates 1st practice similar to Saban's 1st practice, Shula leftovers out of shape. Saban told the team y'all are in the worse shape of any team I've had but we're gonna get you in best shape you've ever been in.

and I'm sure our team was out of shape, seeing as how Avery cut practice time down from 140 to 70 minutes the last two months of the season.

Oats told 3ManFront that the Catapult numbers after the first workouts were higher than theyve ever been by a large margin.

I think the name to watch if Smith or Fleming leave is Haanif Cheatham. Oats has already reached out and Cheatham said earlier this week that he plans to visit Bama "As soon as possible."
6'5 guard who is an all around good player. Good rebounder, defender, and scorer, mainly a driver but shot 41% from three last year. I'm sure most of you remember his name from when Grant recruited him out of HS.

Shows me that the guys are putting out more effort. Good for them.
