I don't see why he wouldn't. He's seen enough to know what we've got, most of which needs to go. The NIT is usually a money losing proposition anyway. Turn that shite down.
But then again, we've been runner-up in that godforsaken tournament twice in the 2000's, losing to Tulsa and Wichita State. Gotta keep up the tradition of finishing second in a second rate post-season tourney.

NIT is OK when you are rebuilding. Oats Is processing half of these kids so it serves no purpose.

Ok, this is the first blue blood on trial. This will set the tone. Will the NCAA buy the bullshite excuse that Adidas employees acted in their own best interests and were not representatives of KU even though the kids were steered there? And the corollary that KU did not know? If they let KU skate, they are going to wash all this shite away and play stupid. If that’s the case, I hope Congress burns the mother fricking NCAA to the ground.

The NCAA hasn't been scared to hammer a blue blood before, Alabama sure got hammered, as did USC right in the middle of their dynasty run. I don't see why Kansas wouldn't get hammered if they are found guilty. They'll have to find proof obviously, and some schools have gotten wiser as to how to get around the NCAA and deny everything.

Because it wouldn’t just be Kansas getting hammered. There are some big name schools involved and if they hammer Kansas it sets a precedent
