Oats called out Reese in his press conference tonight. Maybe he doesn’t want him to return?
I fricking hope so. Galin and Davis suck but I have no ill will towards either of them because they at least play hard. Alex "El Matador" Reese can kindly frick off and be a bench player at Samford next year, which is where he belongs.

Davis let a guard box him out and get an offensive rebound tonight then got another rebound in his hands late in the game and lost it out of bounds. I'm not a fan. Need to see more from him than one good game every couple of months.
We literally may have the worst bigs of any power 5 basketball team.

Yea I'm all for being done with all the bigs and bringing in 2 Bolas who will defend and pound the glass and hope Rojas can be a stretch guy.
This group has been given enough chances. Time to move on. This isn't a fvckin rec ball team, hard choices have to be made

The problem is we have one guy signed in Ambrose this recruiting class. Bolden, Kira, and Petty are probably gone. You show too many guys the door and we'll be dealing with this season's depth problems without the injuries.

I think Rojas was gonna be the answer to the problem this year but of course wasn't able to be. He isn't the biggest guy but he is a tough mfer and probably would've got 8+ rebounds most nights, which is 7 more than Smith and Davis usually get.

I don't think Petty is going anywhere and we'll sign another guy whether it's Primo or not, and possibly more than that with a few of the JuCo kids. And after that we'll hit the transfer market.
We'll have no problem filling a roster.

I think so too but we don’t know that.
Ricky Tarrant, Nick King, Daniel Giddens, and Tevin Mack were suppose to be problem solvers too

I think we get Primo and KeonEllis. Have to fill the rest out with GRad Transfers

Man I hope we get Primo

That’s just it, George. They aren’t hard choices. We have no bigs. None of them can play at an SEC level. It’s really that simple. Blow it up, keep some guards, hit the Jucos and portal hard as a stop gap and bring in some damn big guys that can play ball. Take it to the hole, crash the boards, and defend the paint. If you can’t, don’t apply.

I mean the guys we bring in are all gonna be super flawed. But maybe they'll be flawed and play their guts out and fit what we want to do.
I mean probably they'll just be terrible but yea.

We also lead for Primo and Keon Ellis according to the insiders and Oats said he wants to get at least one athletic big, so we are gonna have to get rid of at least two, if not three players.

Well if Galin Smith plays one more mother fricking minute, it’s one too many.
Then take your pick of Davis, Hawkins, Forbes and Reese to go along with Beetle and there’s your 3.

None of this will stop us from hyping them up though. That borderline JuCo forward who averaged 10/7 during his 2 years will basically be Kawhi by the time he arrives in Tuscaloosa.

Forbes isn't gonna cut it either, he looks completely lost.
I’ve tried to hang in there with him, but we are at the end of the season and he still just can’t do much of anything.

I feel like not much surprises me with this program but losing at home to Texas A&M and Vanderbilt in the last 3 weeks is a shock even to my system.
Goodness that is horrendous

Even when we are losing stupidly like tonight, it’s still refreshing to hear Oats say when the other team outplays us, it keeps him up at night. Not just “it was a tale of two halves...” or “we’ve got to figure it out.”
Well I’ve figured it out: there’s no will to win in this current roster. There’s no “want to.” They just go out there and play basketball and at the end of 60 minutes they look up at the scoreboard to see the result. If they win, great, if they lose, oh well. Lather, rinse, repeat. They don’t care. If they cared, they would do something about it.

Everytime we throw it to them they either.....
1.Dont catch it
2. Miss the shot
3. Do something unathletic and turn it over
This made me laugh and cry at the same time

The transfer market is the only way to go. Oats seems to be good at it. We got Quinerly, Beetle, and Rojas that way. Drop Galin and Reese’s fat assses, and roll with some transfers. They won’t be worse than Galin & Reese
