I hope he shows all of our bigs the door. I may give Hawkins a pass because he is basically red-shirting. Forbes isn't gonna cut it either, he looks completely lost.

Hawkins is going to transfer after this year. We can only hope guys like Forbes, Reese and Galin follow.
Then again, I bet they probably won't land anyone better to replace them. Alabama Basketball is a vicious cycle.

This! I’d kick ‘em all out and hit the Jucos/transfer portal hard. Bunch of pussies. This program went to shite when we stopped recruiting an athletic big who could dominate the middle. Hall was the missing piece this year.

I think Hawkins is red-shirting. Why would he transfer?

Yea I'll be honest if more than 50% of this roster is back next year I'll have a hard time giving two shites. I don't expect a roster of Petty, Shack, Herb, transfers and freshmen to do a whole lot but it will at least pique my interest.
If I have to watch Davis and Reese out there again I think I'll find other activities to fill my time.

Not a bad idea

Because on a team with very bad post production most every night, he wasn’t good enough to touch the court in a single meaningful minute
Me and Busey are in the same group where the “insider”, and I use that term loosely, all but speaks in absolutes when it comes to Hawkins not returning.

Did we even try to set up any inside plays? I just remember passing to Davis a couple of times and Galin once! Did we not have a clear size advantage on them or am I missing something? Davis had 20 points last game.

If he can’t get out there this year then he is no good

What a sad excuse for a basketball program.

Everytime we throw it to them they either.....
1.Dont catch it
2. Miss the shot
3. Do something unathletic and turn it over

To be fair, what the hell are you gonna draw up? Our 2 bigs have nothing offensively in terms of post games.
Literally nothing.

Oats called out Reese in his press conference tonight. Maybe he doesn’t want him to return?
Oats says everything I want to hear during his PCs...he’s brutally honest and I appreciate that. But until things change, it’s just hard to feel positive about anything.

I think Davis can be more serviceable inside than Reese and Galin, but that's not saying much. He wouldn't be the worst player returning of the three bigs.
It's so frustrating.

I know but at least try that instead of Reese taking first five shots from 3-point land and making one. Going inside worked last time and USC had Kotsar.

You're fricking right we are.

At this point I think Javian and Rojas will be the only bigs asked to come back. Reese, Galin, and Hawkins are gone

I've already said too much!
