It wont be the administration that doesnt give him time.
Fortunately the FOM on this board doesnt control the hiring and firing of coaches.

The Coleman Coliseum conundrum is more complicated than one would assume. Three sports teams use it as a home venue. The locker and training rooms of all three are housed there. A full court basketball practice area is located there. In addition all of the offices for coaches and support staff are there. If you tear Coleman down and rebuild, where do they go? If not where else do you build the new facility? Where do you play the home contests for these three sports. The endeavor will take time, a lot of money and a great deal of inconvenience.
As to recent performance of the team. Nobody in their right mind should have expected a first year coach to come in and take this team to the NCAA tournament in his first year. This is college basketball played by young men with all of the difficulties that entails. I had hopes for this season and they have improved attitude and intensity. I like the direction this team is headed and love the coaching staff. I have only missed a handful of games in the last 45 years and have cheered throughout the good and the mediocre
The best way to support the team is to find a way to get here every once in awhile and cheer on the team. It will make you feel better than sitting around grousing about how it shoulda, coulda be better.
Hope to see you at the next game.

That’s what I said during the off-season, but I sure didn’t see you taking my side, back then. At least the other guys had the guts to give a prediction before hindsight kicked in.

If ya don’t call their predictions crazy from the start, you shouldn’t really start knocking the fellas at the end.

I agree. I will watch(Mostly because I have a problem)and I will root for us to win but my investment is done with this team. I still have faith in Oats though

Yea, I don’t blame Oats. I really feel like he’s dealing with something that he’s never seen.

We have not played well at OM historically or at least in recent memory it seems ....IDK. Will be pulling for us but trying to not get too worked up over it the rest of the way

Question about Oats for you BBall experts...

Everytime I have watched his teams play(only the NCAAt games at Buffalo) it seemed like teams that slow the game down and mucked it up gave him problems...(UK in 2018/TTU last year/Tenn and A&M this year). Should that be a legit concern or were those particular games outliers?

I hope we win, but I’m not going to be mad either way. It is what it is. I don’t even know what time we play

Come 730, I will be tuned in just like every other game ... can’t help it, dobber down or not

Still believe we can go on a run .... I choose to believe this

On a side note, whatever, whenever we get a new/ renovated arena , I hope it has a little more seat room. If you are 6ft or better , there is No leg room. Been to 3 games this year and was awful each time . My two cents

Guess as I get older , I pay attention to it more bc I never really noticed it as bad as all the years I have been to games and gymnastic meets in there

Thank God that it’s nice outside. I’m wanting to burn some stuff, but I believe I’ll give it an extra day to dry and gas it tomorrow
