Did ya'll see that female Bama fan that had the DM session with Purifoy when they were in town for the Bama game and she posted the screen shots on twitter of him trying to get her to come to his hotel room and smash? (May have been McLemore I don't remember)
Plus we talked so much trash to their players on Twitter after that win.
Oh yeah they're gonna try to beat us by 40.

To be honest, I didn’t think it was that close.

and as someone said earlier today, that stat doesn't even take injuries into account. We have to be the unluckiest team this year out of the 350 D1 teams.

Part of that luck stat is being clutch vs not being clutch
It's true a lot of close games is just luck, but there is certainly a measure of skill and mental ability in there. It's not just random they're high and we are.....well terribly low

That's part of it, and a big part of it is teams like Iowa State and Kentucky who aren't good at shooting threes being absolutely lights out from three vs us or teams that aren't very good in general playing their best game of the year vs us. Teams shooting 90% from the free throw line on the season vs us.
Some of that has to do with our horrible defense imo. We leave way too many three point shooters wide open.

Yep - and we haven't won a whole lot of one possession last 90 second games (Kansas St, Georgia) but we've lost a ton of them (Penn, Penn St, Florida, Kentucky, Arkansas, Tennessee).

Yep, and Auburn has won a ton of those, so has LSU. I wouldn't really chalk it up to lucky either, good experienced teams find ways to win close games.

Agree - though if you are #1 like Auburn there is certainly a bit of luck in there. Same with us almost at the bottom, a lot of non-clutch, but also just some plain unluckiness.

That’s one thing I don’t understand: Nate stresses defense and had a pretty good ranking in Buffalo on that end of the floor. Comes to Bama and we suck arse so bad on that end, refs whistle us for looking like we’re going to foul.

Fact: The only way to watch Bama and enjoy it is to drink, heavily.

Oats isn't a magician, we should be much improved on defense next year after a whole offseason with him.
I'm surprised he Oats got our offense turned around as quick as he did, we are scoring a ton of points.
He admitted that this offseason they focused mainly on offense and pace.
At Buffalo his teams were also really good at rebounding, I think Buffalo was 5th in rebounds per game last year, hopefully he can get us rebounding a lot better over the offseason too. Having Rojas and Ambrose will help a lot.

Oats is in a process with young horses running wild, quiet a few on the DL. I celebrate each win no matter the opponent.
We're 3 games over 500 with a team that has no true PG.

Donte Hall had a very impressive put back dunk. My goodness, it was nice. I’ll try to link it

He has been killing it in the G league. Happy for him. Guess he finally got some decent coaching, shame he didn't here.

Technology is killing me, Bear. Put me in a log cabin in the mountains with a fishing pole and I’d be happy. Unabomber without the bombs and hate.
