Takes a while to take players who are used to losing and change their mentality. Saban wasn’t able to do it in year one, he lost to Louisiana Monroe.
How did pearl do his first few seasons in Auburn? Rick Barnes didn’t do well his first year at Tennessee.
I’m sure you were right there saying how terrible Saban was after every loss in 07.

I've been a perpetual sunshine pumper for Oats*. Convinced myself we would be Ole Miss of last year.

Ole Miss didn’t have a ton of injuries last year that I remember.

I’m tired of John Petty’s weak minded arse scoring single digits when we absolutely need him to be the upperclassman leader.
I’m tired of Kira Lewis turning it over more than the pancake cook at IHOP.
I’m tired of Galin Smith looking like a baby giraffe with clubbed hands.
I’m tired of Beetle Bolden doing the absolute stupidest thing every time he’s involved in a play.
I’m tired of our opponents getting to the line 3 times the number we do.
I’m tired of the overall stink Avery Johnson left on this program that won’t wash off.
What I am NOT tired of is Nate Oats and staff busting their asses to make a basketball team out of this bunch of mental pussies.

Feel free to. I hope Quinney is good as folks have said he’s been and Rojas/Gary are more than just warm bodies, but I still think Oats has gotta find some transfers because the whole program needs new blood.

I’m pretty sure most people’s opinions on if we make the tournament or not would’ve been different if we had known Gary and Rojas would get injured and be out for the year, Quinerly would get denied, Herb would miss the last month and a half of the season, and Beetle would only be fully healthy for about 3 games. We didn’t know any of that in June when we made predictions.
Props to the people who predicted we would suck before any of that happened acting right now.

Injuries happen to every team. Quit using it as an excuse for everything. It’s been brutal this season, but that it why we lost tonight or against Arkansas. Stupid mistakes and lack of hustle are the reason
