Really nice win. Glad we won by double digits which will only help with metrics across the board. I’m glad Oats pays attention to that.

It's a much more exciting brand of basketball than what we have had for the last 10 years. It will likely pay dividends with recruiting assuming we have some success on the court too. Most kids love to play in this kind of wide open offense.

all of this!! On to Gainesville!

Remember when Avery shite the bed at home against Richmond in his annual NIT first-round bounce?

Richmond, although had a horrible loss last game (seems like everybody is dropping weird games this year tho), has beaten Wisconsin and Vandy already.

This was a good win.

Props to Petty. I had given up on him at the start of the season, but something has clicked and he’s playing great

I think everybody was giving Petty shite at the start of the season. He seems to be a completely different player now. It's pretty incredible to watch.

Me and you both Cobra. I was ready for Nate to run Petty off. I was so wrong on him.

The early season schedule did us no favors this year transitioning to Oats ball. In other years it would be fine but we needed cupcakes early to settle in before facing the Penn States and North Carolina’s.

Really looks like we’re getting comfortable playing at this pace. Kira is lightning quick. Really love seeing the ball in his hands with Reese as our big. He’s unstoppable when there’s no help defense. Petty’s confidence seems to be semi-permanent this year, and man his shot is so pretty. Hits nothing but net every time. If Shackelford becomes a little more consistent, we’ll be a threat to anyone left on our schedule. All this team really needs is a shot blocker.

The whole team looks completely different. They still aren't great, but they are starting to get it. They've cut back on the turnovers, they are sharing the ball better, they are hitting their open shots. They are playing much better defense, the Samford game notwithstanding. After the first 6 games this looked like a 10 win team. After the last 6 they look more like a 19-20 win team.

Oats kept saying pre-season he thought we had an NCAA tourney team. Would be amazing to actually pull it off.

There's no doubt there has been improvement. It's exciting to watch again.
