On the bright side, we didn't get blown out by a national power in a highly publicized tournament.
Let's hope we can continue to improve versus Iowa State but I've got a feeling Prohm is going to try to destroy us for the snub.

Snub? Buddy used the coach change to get a raise out of ISU as predicted. They just lost to Michigan, so I hope we beat them.

Off topic, but Dayton is running and has some great ball movement. So frustrating to see, but happy for Grant. I said when he was fired that he’d make a name for himself elsewhere. Awesome for him that he gets to do it at his alma mater.

I really do think Oats is a good coach. I just think he’s in a tough position right now. He has like 8 players and the rest are bad or injured. Most of them can’t dribble or shoot well enough for his system and that’s not something that can be fixed overnight. Then on top of all that we probably have the toughest schedule in the country and it isn’t letting up at all the rest of the year. Not gonna panic yet.

Oats is a mid-major coach who is in over his head right now. You can’t really say it’ll change once he gets his players, because we’ve got 1 underwhelming commit right now. He struggles at recruiting as well.
This little run fast with a bunch of chuckers and no D bull shite is nothing but a circus. Pleasing to the eyes, but you won’t be successful with Mike Dantoni ball. Every second Oats is the coach is a second of wasted time.

If having no confidence in this shiit show season we’ve watched thus far makes you dumb, then I’m dumb. I want defenders that can run set plays, drive, pass, & shoot. Run run run run teams don’t work. We are trying to be the Texas Tech basketball version of their football team. This is a waste of time, Oats is a no name coach who is getting raped on the recruiting trail, and that will continue.

Y’all I feel like If Forbes can just see one go through the Net he will become a weapon for us. The kid is too good of a shooter to keep missing. I hope he keeps heaving them up with confidence

It will take another 6 weeks but by then we will be very hard to beat. We will get better. They play an exciting brand of ball and they are learning by their mistakes. Have faith RTR
