It's hard for me to get too excited until I see the addition of a competent offensive big man...until Bama has a credible inside presence I find it hard that they will be able to compete at a high level...
To be elite, yes. To be good, no. Hell, Bama beat several tourney teams this year. I think if Hall and Taylor can just improve a little on offense, Bama can be pretty good next year. Maybe not Final Four good, but Tournament good.

Honestly, if we just have decent enough shooters that can bank open shots off of screens, can create enough space for to shoot, and can pass well, I really don't mind not having a huge scoring threat inside the paint. As long as he's a good defender and can help Bama win in the backboards, then I'm fine.

i like the start Avery has done but watching the natty tonight reminds me that we are several years away from being in the conversation of having teams that could get to the sweet 16 much less the final 4. UNC is 10 deep

DID YOU GUYS JUST SEE THAT ENDING????

Need 2 athletic forwards 6'7-6'9 2 wings that can defend and stroke it and a facilitator ....a dominant big man isnt a necessity

I don't think my heart could take Bama being in the championship game. I was nervous and I didn't even care who won, if Bama was there, I'd die during the game

you did not obviously due during the FB natty with clempson so I think you would survive

I haven't even watched the highlights of the Clemson game. Game was too intense.
Last night was too crazy. Duke-Butler was good, but that was literally the best game since Kansas-Memphis.

Now that it's officially offseason for all basketball , looking forward to see what Avery does to keep promoting the program.
Hope he makes an appearance at A-Day and tries to get fans interactive.

That's what I like about Avery. He's kept me into basketball all offseason and during the season. I'm trying to find anything I can about basketball even during football season now. It was never like that with our other coach.

I just asked Cecil on Twitter and he doesn't think Simon is leaving. I doubt Pettway would be forced out, so if Jones is actually right about this, I guess Pospichal would be reassigned? I really don't know though. I wasn't expecting staff changes.
