Gotta love the rant and how they skew every Bama accomplishment. Apparently we didn't sell out any games, just bought the tickets and only 4,000 showed up.

I don't think there has ever been an Alabama basketball ticket thread that NYC Auburn hasn't showed up in. It's pretty uncanny, really.

Don't even attempt to reason or bring logic into a discussion about Alabama with an Auburn fan. The truth can be slapping them in the face, but they'll continue to deny it and believe what they believe

I've been watching Braxton Key the last few games and every time they mention him, they say he's signed with Alabama and he's gonna be a great player for Avery Johnson. Then they mention our record and say how we overachieved and name some of the teams we beat. They've bragged on Alabama more than any other college team. We're lucky to have Key bc he's a great player but we're also lucky to have him bc he's getting Alabama mentioned on ESPN while everyone's watching, including other recruits who see Key and may want to play with him in college.

Key really does everything well. He's smart on defense, rebounds well, makes great passes, good handles, and can finish inside. If we can help him develop a perimeter shooting game, the sky is the limit.

We may have lost Ferguson but were soooooo lucky to have Braxton

Key hit both free throws on a 1 and 1 to tie the game with 6 seconds left and then they get the stop and send it into OT.

Oak Hill tips the ball in at the buzzer and wins the championship by 2 in OT. Braxton Key was the best all around player on Oak Hill's team today and it wasn't close. May have been the best on both teams. It was close between Key and that kid on the other team that had that crazy hair lol. Just glad Key got himself a championship!

Braxton Key was named Dicks Nationals Tourney MVP after today's championship win for Oak Hill. Key had 20 points and 9 rebounds in the win.

Watched some of it. We may have lost Ferguson, but we are really fortunate to have Key. Solid player to lay the foundation for the future. Just an all around fundamentally sound player with a high basketball IQ.
He and Ar'Mond are going to be really fun to watch next year.

Speaking of Ar'Mond, he's already fitting in well the the T-Town ladies

Getting a really good player like Key and then Armond is great. But then add a healthy Dazon and Nick King. After that, u get whatever transfer(s) we get and then u still get a group of players from last year returning. I think we will be a pretty good team next year. I think we'll make the tourney.

It really wouldn't surprise me if Davis is our top scorer next year. He clearly isn't shy about pulling the trigger. He has such a quick release, and he looks like he has solid handles and slashing ability. He also seems to be pretty athletic. Hell, maybe he's the guy to break our undrafted streak. A fan can hope, can't he?
Anyone heard anything about him defensively?

I agree 110%. Retin is Amazing, and it's tough to lose him, but we got a group of 4 kids coming in here next season that I can't wait to see. Just looking at Players We are Losing vs Players We are Getting, you have got to be pretty excited, and they should definitely make a run for the Tourney and probably get in.
Players Lost: Retin Obasohan, Michael Kessens, Justin Coleman & Arthur Edwards
Players Gained: Braxton Key, A'rmond Davis, Nick King & Dazon Ingram
Thank you Retin, but I make that player trade every day of the week and twice on sunday
Next season will be fun, #BuckleUp

It's hard for me to get too excited until I see the addition of a competent offensive big man...until Bama has a credible inside presence I find it hard that they will be able to compete at a high level....there's got to be a Ware, Maten, or even a Bowers that wants to play for the Tide

I agree. I think next year we'll have better talent and probably have a better record by 1 or 2 games and sneak into the NCAA tourney, but we won't be able to play with the big boys until we get an inside big who can actually score and play defense

Not trying to be negative but where is this Armond is great coming from. He is a good juco player. Let's hope he is just good.

I just think he's a really good player from what I've seen from his highlights. Nobody we have is great.

I'd be happy with a team of good players.
