We are the 10 seed and will play Ole Miss. If we win(which I doubt), our tourney will end against UK.

Whatever. We'll shut down Moody and shock the world against Kentucky. Let's go dancing!

I have so much whiskey to try to get me thru next week.

Obasohan has had many great games, hale had a great game tonight offensively, Norris had his best game against South Carolina, and I'm sure I'm missing some more best games from others. Here's my point: why can't they all come together for just one game? Preferably in the 2nd round against UK

Alabama will play Ole Miss in the first round of the SEC tourney. Here's what coach Avery had to say about playing in the tourney LINK

We're screwed.

Absurd how open the bracket would be for us had Kentucky just won the regular season like usual I mean flip them and A&M and I'd really like our chances for a deep run.

Here are my thoughts on this season and next season....

This Season: Retin Obasahon...Thank you. I only wish you were 3 years younger so that you can enjoy multiple March Madness trips (Yes, Avery will have us there very soon).
I LOVE this team. I fell in love with the players, the coaches, etc this year for sure, more than any other in my lifetime. It feels good knowing Bama Basketball has a future with Avery, because we've stunk my whole life time. Having said all that...WE STINK. The players are giving everything they have, and I love that, but they just don't have any talent. Michael Kessens is bad. I mean really bad. Kessens is so bad, that Justin Coleman is getting to fly under the radar and we aren't getting to talk about how AWFUL he is too. He's terrible.

Next Year: #BuckleUp, That's all I have to say. Yes, Obasohan is gone. But, how great does this look on paper....

Dazon Ingram, 4-Star PG, is back.
Braxton Key, 4-Star SG, arrives on campus.
A'rmond Davis, 4-Star SF, arrives on campus.
Nick King, 4-Star F, arrives on campus from Texas A&M, and is now eligible to play.

Now I know 5-Star SG Terrance Ferguson was the icing on the cake here, but step back and take a look here for a second. Avery Johnson is adding four 4-Star players to the roster next year! That's unprecedented with Bama basketball. Plus, the 4-Star Big Man Bruno Fernando is still deciding, and may come here.

Our roster stinks right now, and WE STILL almost made March Madness. Avery is adding four 4-Star players next season. What if he adds in three or four 4-Star players like this for the next 3-4 seasons, with a couple of 5-Stars sprinkled in? Get my drift here? He's going to bring in talent, and we will be great very soon. This next recruiting cycle is a GREAT start.

Get ready for a run next season led by our new four 4-Stars, and if we suck, don't worry, we can always just dream about what might have been if Kobie Eubanks & Terrance Ferguson would have been wearing Crimson too

we had the horses to beat some pretty good teams. We had those same horses to lose to some very average teams. a lot of our big wins happened after our PG went down. You know wins over UF, LSU.

Something happened. We stopped pushing the tempo and reverted back to the SOS that our last coach did. The last game showed the UGA players hustling harder then our guys did for loose balls and rebounds. That my friend has nothing to do with talent. That is heart and desire.

There is a kid at Hazel Green HS who played Varsity as a freshman. Averaged 20+ ppg and has taken an unofficial visit to UA to meet Coach. He's a Clipari kid in that he loves Clipari and the style of play. But after meeting coach he now likes UA and will visit a few more times. He's not a high star rated kid yet, but imo will be a 4 or 5 star prospect after next season. He's 6'1, maybe 6'2 now and has always played a few age groups up on the AAU circuit.

Probably so. I do know that Coach made a good impression on him on the visit plus he has family ties to UA. Several cousins have played football at UA and his mom ran track at UA.

Buck Johnson's son, AU people are convinced he is theirs if they want him, I can't see Buck allowing that.

Yep, his name is Bradley Belt from Hazel Green. I listed him among the 3-Stars. I hope Avery can reel him in.

Bradley Belt transfered to James Clemens High School in Madison if I remember correctly. The freshman I'm talking about is Kira Lewis.
