Ohio State beat #8 Iowa. Isn't OSU a bubble team? They're like 19-11 now I think.

They have some very bad losses and Iowa is the only good win they have

I think they beat Kentucky at the beginning of the year too but that's only 2 good wins and the bad losses are what's keeping them out of consideration I guess

This week pretty much will determine our postseason fate. Win both and I think we're in. Win one, and idk if we will get in or not, it'll be close. If these guys truly want to make the NCAA, they will. It looks like Avery is excited to have a shot at it by the way he talks and the players seem excited right now. This week and the next week will be very nerve wrecking and a lot of fun. Selection Sunday is 2 weeks from today and no matter what happens, I'm just happy to be in consideration 14 days from the end of the regular season/SEC tourney. RTR! #BuckleUp

I just can't see why though, unless he predicts we lose at Georgia or at home to Arkansas. Vandy is one thing; Florida has two wins in the top 50 RPI and has lost the head-to-head matchup with Bama.

Florida gets a slight prestige bump because of all their recent success. It's unfair, but it is what it is. We get the same thing in football.

Head to head is irrelevant though. Their RPI and SOS is better than ours right now. It'll all work itself out though, won't matter if we don't take care of business.

Their SOS is better, but what good does it do when your 2-9 vs the top 50 RPI?
Bama is 5-7 vs the top 50 RPI.
And even though it hardly counts, Bama is 5-6 on the road and 2-2 at neutral sites. Florida meanwhile is 3-8 on the road and 2-1 at neutral sites. If the committee does a comparison of the two teams right now, no way in hell they should be in over us.

Agreed, I was just talking in the scenario that the season ended now.
SOS is important, but not so much when you have no meaningful wins.
