That's pretty cool, but where is the connection between Avery and the Royals?

If this happens we will have fans jumping off cliffs with excitement.

The author needs to slow his roll. We aren't there yet but the mere fact someone included Alabama in a serious article about March Madness is a testament to the fantastic job CAJ's done this year.

Let them jump. The landings would be cushioned by the bodies of all the LSU (and a few AU) fans that jumped first to avoid living in a world where Bama was good in both basketball and football.

I don't think the author means they are a sleeper to win the whole tournament. I took it more as Alabama being a team to watch, that could win a couple games in the tourney.

Lunardi stuck to his guns on Finebaum and said he doesn't think we will make the tournament.

If we only lose to Kentucky down the stretch, how do we not get in

Lunardi seems like a guy who really despises Alabama.

Lunardi's opinion matters as much as Cowherd's, Klatt's and Pauly Howard's

Why? He thinks we lose at home or something?

I mean, what is his rational?

I just don't understand why.

Yea, I just want to know his rational. If it is that our BPI sucks so we will probably lose 1 of the 3 games to State/Auburn/Arkansas, lose to UK and to UGA.........then ok. I agree that scenario might leave us out.

But if his rational is we lose @ UK and @ UGA and don't get beat by somebody crappy in the Tournament, well he's just wrong, no matter what his title at ESPN is.

The only thing he said was he doesn't think we can sustain our play, we should be happy just to be in the conversation, and a simple gust of wind could push us out of the tournament. He gave no real rationale or basketball logic.

I mean, I know I shouldn't be irritated, but it irritates me when guys paid to cover a sport nationally don't pay any attention or do any research. I'm sure this is how middle of the pack football programs feel like too, we just don't ever deal with it.

A look at our schedule shows that
(a) our resume is better than most of the current"bubble"
(b) we have big wins throughout the season, with different lineups and different players playing well, from November to January to February
(c) we aren't exactly playing "over our head" right now
(d) we are 100% in "don't fvck this up" territory now (which we could easily do)

Lunardi and some others are talking like we had an amazing 15 days when we all of a sudden got SUPER HOT and won 3 games against Top 50 teams. If that was the case, he'd be right. But it isn't even close to the case.

Whatever, just irritating that people are lazy.

What do you guys think the starting lineup will look like next year. I'm starting to like Coleman as the starting point. I like Ingram but its something about Coleman shooting the 3 and in grams ability not to. Would like to see Ingram on the wing with his length and rebounding ability.

I like Ingram starting at PG and Coleman coming off the bench. Need to have a couple of guys that can score for the second unit and Coleman fits that imo.

Our second unit next year could have Coleman, Norris, Hale and Hall on it. That's pretty damn good.
