Alabama absolutely cannot afford a loss from here on out of the OOC schedule. Texas being terrible this year doesn't help one bit, but they could help Alabama down the line if they can get hot against a tough b12 conference. Hopefully we can pull off the upset against Oregon and beat Clemson again. That would give us a 3-2 record vs the current ranked top 70. Valpo needs to continue to impress too.

I really wish Dayton would have just sucked vs us for once in their life.

I think we will beat Texas and Clemson but I just don't see us beating Oregon

Some RPI thoughts

- Texas game isn't a big deal W or L. Being a road game it is a "0.6" L . Additionally, with an entirely new starting lineup Texas was always supposed to improve moving forward

-Arkansas St is a masterstroke of RPI planning. "Neutral Site" counts as 1.0 W vs 0.6 W for home game. Being in Alabama you still get all the home court advantages

-Dayton should only move up in RPI once conference play comes along

Doesn't Clemson count as a neutral site game too since it's in BHam?

No. Birmingham is too close to Tuscaloosa. I think it has to be something like > 60 miles from campus for it to become a neutral site.

Super easy and updating is 3-4 min just pasting RPI/Kenpom rankings in excel.

Tempted to write some VBA that scrapes the data so I do nothing
