Ingram won't make a leap until he learns to take open shots and gets more aggressive. When he drives to the hole its either a bucket of foul. Oh yea and consistently makers free throws. All of those things he can do.

I don't think Avery got out coached. I honestly think they had the better team.

We need a pure point guard and some alphas. I really don't want to blame Avery. I like him and if he fails, it will set us back so damn far

Sometimes I just don't think people watch the same games I do lol. We'll have open shots all game and miss, have stupid turnovers, and things like that that really can't be coached but our fans say it's coaching.....tonight our team didn't want to be there and we were playing a good team who wanted to be there. Nothing else Avery could do imo.

Just got back from the game. Watching it live sitting so close opened my eyes to alot of our deficiencies. I was able to sum up the source to our biggest problem. Shooting. The reason we shoot so badly is due to the very poor play from our bigs. Essentially, if Bola and/or Hall are on the floor we are playing with 1-2 less people on offense. Bola can't create any offense and doesn't have any post moves at all, not that it wasn't apparent before. Hall just doesn't know how to play on offense period. He doesn't flash to the ball, he doesn't know how to use his body to get open, he doesn't know how to use space to create opportunities not only for himself, but anyone driving to the basket with the ball. He moves away from the ball way too much instead of coming to the lane to get the ball for easy baskets. Down the stretch when we were down by three Ingram had the ball in the post and he received a triple team and instead of Hall coming to the middle of the paint to give him an easy pass for a basket, he instead moved completely out of the paint forcing Ingram to kick the ball back to the top of the key. There are countless situations like that during the game.

Riley Norris has a very slow first step. That is why he is a bit suspect on defense and has a hard time creating his own shot. It also explains why he shoots so many air balls. He rushes his shot when being closed out because he knows if he puts it on the floor the defender has neutralized him.

Ingram is just a three star and he plays like it. On Saturday we saw Fox take over the game by driving to the hole using his explosiveness and quickness. He was able to change directions and explode to the basket for and ones. Either Ingram just can't do that or he is too timid to do it, either way it is why he is a 3*. If he works on it in the off season he will be a force, but if it doesn't improve expect more disappointing play from him.

Overall, it is kind of surprising we had this good of a season. It shows how good of a coach AJ really is. This team is crappy and he had us on the verge of making the big dance. Not too shabby, CAJ, not too shabby.

We were also playing our fourth game in six days. Had like one day to prepare for this game. Ran out of steam seemed like, Key has had three bad games in the last four offensively.I agree Key is not an alpha,he does a lot of things well but is limited offensively. Next year he will shine with Sexton and Petty for support.

Exactly. Not happy with the outcome but happy that we are even in postseason. As far as next season. I think we can be good but I think a lot of you are expecting far too much. Sexton is great but what we need is for everyone else to step up. If these guys don't get any better we will still suck next year. That's not on Avery either. He can't make you go to the gym when he doesn't have practice scheduled.

Here's Collin Sexton's mixtape that was released tonight at 8 CT. Really good stuff, especially the bench players' faces around 3:23 LINK

#1 seed Cal is trailing #8 seed Cal State Bakersfield 19-44 at the half. Indiana lost to GT. Clemson lost to Oakland. Alabama lost to Richmond. The big schools just don't care.

New those teams are probably just better. The difference is we will push guys out and take in transfers. Those teams will have the same players who have worked together. See some of you saying Armond needs to go smh. Just needs to develop his game. Never going to win depending on transfers. What are we arky football.

Well, that was a disappointing game. I was worried it would be a close game when I saw they had a team full of undersized shooters. But, I thought we'd overcome their shooters with offensive rebounds. Not so much. Bama just looked sluggish and uninspired and they didn't take advantage of their advantages.

On to next year.
